Large room. Decent parking.

The overwhelming stench of bleach in the room. Woke up in the night because of it. The closure of the hotel at 10pm. Lights turned off around us. No communal facility. We didn't want to be told to go to bed at 10. Being charged over 6 euros for 4cl of port.very inhospitable. Locatiin in a run down area. Totally wouldn't recommend.

We arrived on motorbikes after a massive storm so soaked through, staff were kind enough to tumble dry our riding clothes which was very good of them.Property had an excellent pool, secure car park, good sized air con rooms. There was a good selection at breakfast would stay here again.

The restaurant only serves breakfast; no dinner - but there are restaurants within walking distance

All staff were very friendly and helpful. Having air-conditioning and a hotel pool were really appreciated as it was very hot during our stay. It's only a short walk to the town where there are plenty of good restaurants. The garden is lovely too with plenty of shaded seating options. The pool is well looked after with plenty of sun loungers and even swinging hammock style sunbeds! We also used the hotel e-bikes that are available to hire.

Initially we were a bit disappointed by the look of the hotel but it is all perfectly functional. Perhaps a bit more soft landscaping with a few more flowering shrubs in the garden would improve how it looks.

Clean and comfortable. Nice quiet place.

Situated on the edge of town. Has the feel of a motel (ideal for working people rather than tourists/travellers). Bar closed early (for a British person).

A/C in the room,which was great, surprise to find hotel had a pool which was lovely and clean, just what you need when you have Been motorcycling all day.

Great breakfast. Swimming pool a bonus. Not too far to walk to Avallon centre.

Noisy plumbing- heard running water from other rooms like it was in ours.

Noisy as most other guests were business people who got up early and as we were first room in from reception there was a lot of noise from people checking out way before we were ready to feet up

Nice location and good car parking, it’s a fair walk to find any bars or restaurants that are actually open.

The hotel is clean.

This is an old property and that's that. A persistent smell. Heating is with airco, that means it has to buzz all night, if you like warmer tempearture (or turn it off if you can cope with cold).

Lovely family run hotel. Immaculately clean room, friendly helpful staff. Pool much appreciated. Excellent breakfast and helpful recommendations for local restaurants - the one 200m away was great!

Good air con and comfortable beds. One double and 2 full-sized singles in a family room is unusual (often get at least one camp bed or sofa bed).
