Nice room, good location, helpful staff

Nothing to complain about at all

Bathroom was recently refurbished, the shower was good. Location quite close to the town centre, lots of parking on site. Garden looks nice, but only one dirty table with chairs, no benches, no sun.

Minimal facilities: no kettle nor cups for tea/coffee, only two wine glasses in a family room, paper cups in bathroom, no hair dryer, no facility to warm up food or eat. Property is clean but very tired. Also, noisy with poor sound insulation. One can hear the foot steps and conversations of people in neighbouring rooms; in the morning, some banging noise somewhere in the hotel, as if moving heavy furniture, woke us up; it continued for a long time. Breakfast 10 eur.

Parking and location is good, staff friendly, room clean. We did not have breakfast as we left early to catch ferry home. There are some good restaurants in 5 min walking distance

There was no tea and coffee making facilities in our room. Surely for the price of over 70 euro's for the night, a small kettle in the room and a few tea bags or sachets of coffee is not too much to ask. As we were leaving early in the morning, we had to stop on motorway to get a hot drink.

We enjoyed the breakfast. Good selections, fresh soft-boiled eggs!Nice ground for walking around outside the hotel.We were able to self check-in upon late arrival.

The third-floor room was small with tiny window was hard to get to with luggage. But that's not a big deal.

The breakfast was good. The hotel setting with garden at the rear is very pleasant.

The room decor was tired and worn. The beds were single and uncomfortable.

I paid a little more for a room at the rear overlooking the garden/courtyard. The hotel is situated quite centrally and I thought this might prove to be a quieter experience. It did. I had a great nights sleep, on a very comfortable bed. There's a quite secure car parking area on the hotel grounds at the rear, which made for peace of mind. The hotel is quite old and I wouldn't expect perfection when it comes to some of the fittings. It was adequate and I enjoyed my time there. The staff were friendly and efficient. The location made for an easy exploration of local sights and restaurants, on foot. The breakfast was superb too. Overall a good stay that I would recommend.

The bathroom could do with a little love, but no problem really.

Location was good. There was a lot of hot water and a bath.

I told the owner that the lift wasn't working and she said just to wait a few minutes. It wasn't working meaning we had to carry suitcases up the stairs. My pillow was very lumpy and we were unable to shut our window.

Lovely quaint hotel. It's a little old, but that adds to the charm. It is just a few hundred metres from the historic centre, with several restaurants.It's clean and there's a private car park.Breakfast was good.

The noise insulation between rooms isn't great.

We had a quiet place that was not on the street side. The bathroom was small, with a walk in shower and good quality fittings. The property is close to the centre and within walking distance of two supermarkets.

The pillow was a long sausage shape that stretched from one side of the bed to the other. The room was lit by three small lights, one on the wall and two on bedside tables. There was plenty of parking for us but it was a smaller area than expected from the photos on the website.

It was a nice looking place with things to do around the hotel.

The room was a bit dated and could do with being modernised. A light shade was broken, so at night the light was extremely bright. The bathroom had no shower curtain so it was easy to fill with water.

The hotel was a marvellous old building, the staff were very friendly and helpful.Air conditioning worked a treat, thank goodness as it was pretty hot when we arrived.

Friendly owners, great location and good breakfast. Spacious room with a garden view. Would definitely stay again.

It is very good hotel exceeding my expectations. Very clean. Large parking is inside of the yard. Walk distance from the historical town.

Secure parking, quiet, set in a very large garden - great if you have a dog, central location, an excellent restaurant 100 metres way. Good value for money.

Room was in need of renovation

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Parking extremely safe. The breakfast was super value for money and one of the best we have ever had in a hotel. We had stayed here before and were happy to do so again. A very enjoyable stay.

This hotel is looking a little tired and in need of some renovation. Our room was at the end of a long corridor and Our window was impossible to open. I noted that it would be impossible to escape a fire should on happen in that area.

Calm, warm welcome, excellent breakfast, nice park for a walk.
