    Very Good

    Based on 140 reviews

    Pros +

    • Good price, good location, friendly staff, good French standard breakfast with a breton twist to it, clean, calm, renovated with doubled windows.
    • Clean, comfortable, well located for GR34 walkers
    • Very clean and comfortable accommodation. The only thing we would have liked to have is somewhere to sit in the evening just to chat with our fellow travellers. A lift would be a bonus.

    Cons -

    • A bit too warm at night. Maybe the ventilation could be better.
    • We were on the top floor and the sloping ceiling substantially impacted our ability to stand upright.
    • Very limited hot drink making facilities in our room. Only option to cool the room was opening the front window onto the road, which was a little noisy early morning.

The property and staff were lovely There was a massive downside though as huge works were being done outside our hotel so it was a huge noise issue in the morning when trying to restWe did have double glazing but had to keep windows shut as the noise was terrible yet we needed to have air in the room!On the Friday evening as well there was a huge rave being held in a building up the road but adjacent too the buildingsIt went on till 3am in the morning and we had to travel back the next day.Because of such bad noise problems I wonder if we could possibly have a partial refund of some compensation please. It was a shame because it’s a lovely location And the staff were wonderful!

Comfortable, large bed in a quiet room. Our room overlooked the harbour. Short walk into main town with various restaurant options. Very good buffet breakfast offered with many choices. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. Free parking outside the hotel on the quayside usually available, with paid parking nearby.

Very limited hot drink making facilities in our room. Only option to cool the room was opening the front window onto the road, which was a little noisy early morning.

The staff were very nice and the room felt clean

There is parking nearby, but it’s not hotel parking as far as I could tell. But the staff helped find suitable parking

    Very clean and great location.

Parking is free but it’s street parking so hot and miss. But it’s free.

    9VitorPosted on: 10-13-2024

Very clean . Great breakfast . Good position for the town

3 flights of stairs, but was warned in advanced so knew we might have to climb them.

nice traditional hotel in a great town.

very noisy.. though the room I booked, 23, claimed it was soundproofed.. it certainly was not.. heating system outside going on and off all night.. every footstep from rooms above, the stairs and the landings could be heard as well as people speaking.

Superb location down by the port (everything is easily reachable in Morlaix). Great facilities for cyclists (we were able to store our bikers securely inside. Staff were excellent (nothing too much trouble). The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. Everything was good. Thank you

Good room, varied continental breakfast more than you could eat. Good location to explore the centre of Morlaix on foot.

No on site parking but could park at the road side or in a small public car park. Would have liked some brown bread for breakfast.

    9AllanPosted on: 9-12-2024

Comfortable clean hotel very close to the centre of Morlaix. Breakfast was excellent, and our bicycles were securely stored during our stay. Highly recommended.

Decent sized room, all clean, everything worked, didn't use TV, so I cannot say if it worked.Breakfast was very good

Oh the stairs, but what the heck. Treat it as a fitness regime

    10JoannaPosted on: 9-6-2024

Breakfast catered for all tastes, ranging from continental to cooked. There were many healthy options, including natural yoghurt, fresh fruit, interesting brown bread and boiled eggs. There was also a delicious pastry slice with prunes (?) - a taste of Brittany! The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The room had all essentials; a comfortable bed, hot shower etc and it was in good decorative order.
