    Pros +

    • Great location near the train station, short walk down a few steps into town. The owner was very helpful with my travel plans.
    • Very nice owner, very close to the main station. Recommended!
    • The one star rating is accurate. You get what you pay for.

    Cons -

    • Noisy rooms
    • The nearby parking is blue zone so had to park way down the street. The bar was closed which was a shame, it looked so attractive and authentic. The single thin pillow was not very comfy. The temperature of the water in the shower fluctuated uncomfortably.
    • Quite a bit of black mold on the wall near the head end of the main bed. Quite severe black mold in the shower. Mattresses of the beds are quite old and thus you can't sit on them without sinking in all the way. But they are okay for sleeping.TLDR: if they properly remove the mold, this would be a good choice for the price.

Hotel room was quite affordable despite late booking. Wifi was very good. Very little amounts of noise from neighbors or outside. The nearby church does not ring its bells during the night.

We went into the town for breakfast which was lovely.

It was very annoying that I needed the intervention of your staff to help with a crucial problem. Our special request was that the Hotel reception should stay open until 21.00. We were arriving at Roscoff by ferry at 20. 00 and we were very concerned about the time it would take to leave the boat and arrive in Morlaix. The owners refused our request twice until you were involved and they reluctantly agreed to wait for us. Who has heard of a Hotel which closes its reception so early in the evening?

The hotel is ideally situated within walking distance of the train and bus station. It is a no frills, no fuss hotel with comfortable clean rooms and good washing facilities.

The lady of the house spoke a little English, but the manager spoke no English. They were very helpful and polite however.

Retro hotel, one star but so comfortable. Very close to train and bus. Old fashioned but comfortable bed, good spacious hot shower and very quiet. Family run. Owner helpful.

    Dated decor can seem charming.

It is clean and comfortable. The welcome was warm.

A great overnight stop after arriving in Morlaix by train before cycling to Roscoff.

    7PhilomenaPosted on: 7-23-2023

Perfect for an early train ride. exactly as expected, a basic room very conveniently placed. Nice and clean with a comfy bed

    8CharmianPosted on: 7-17-2023

Simple hotel ideally located for bus and train stations. Series if steps just opposite enables easy access to the town centre. Pleasant and helpful staff.

    8BryanPosted on: 7-16-2023

It was easy to find and a good price.

Parking was all blue zone so not so easy for us from the UK.

This hotel could easily give itself 2 stars. If all you need is a shower and bed for the night it is fine for the price. Yes the decor and carpets could do with a refresh, there’s a bit of mould on the wall in the shower but the bed was comfortable, good shower, decent wifi. Fine for a 1 night stay and right in the centre of Morlaix. For the price, I found it more than adequate………..if you want 5 star, pay 5 star

As per the website, parking is difficult. All spaces outside the hotel are disabled only. There are about 4 spaces directly opposite that are for 15 minutes only between 0900 & 1800 hrs. I arrived at 1745 and left at 0845 and it was fine. Could be difficult if you are leaving/ arriving outside of these times

Delightful host who welcomed us & allowed our bikes to be stored in the bar. Room basic but functional. Excellent breakfast. Close to the station & near the centre of the beautiful town. As mentioned in previous reviews the external shabby appearance belies what is inside. Great value for money.

Nothing. It is what it is

    9JenniepPosted on: 6-29-2023

Good no frills clean one star hotel very close to station. Good bed, decent size room and lovely breakfast. Also he kept our bikes safe inside the building. Very good value. Don't be put off by slightly shabby external appearance of the building.

    All good

    7NicholasPosted on: 5-23-2023

The location and the friendliness of the owners, and the help they gave us to ensure our bikes were secure during our stay

    Everything was ok

    8PaulPosted on: 4-29-2023

it had character and was close to train station. clean and tidy. friendly helpful host.

    bed was a bit hard.

    4JohnPosted on: 4-5-2023

    location

Inadequate pillows on the bed - room was noisy (flimsy sound proofing)

    8JerzyPosted on: 1-23-2023

An honest cheap hotel, with convenient location, clean rooms, comfortable beds and good heating. No frills, but all the basics are covered.

The reception is not open all day (this was not a surprise--the opening hours are posted in the description), so it was not possible to leave the luggage upon arrival. Morlaix is located on a a fairly steep hillside, so going down to the centre and up to the hotel (right by the railway station, as the name suggests) was a bit tiring with our backpacks.
