My room was small and the bed was not as comfortable as to be expected.

Breakfast was nice.

Restaurant had the basic menu, seems they kept a basic dinner open for the guests. And drinks were super expensive!

Great value. Comfortable stay. Friendly staff. The room was clean and relaxing. Although the room next door was occupied, we didn’t hear a thing. Plenty of parking and a beautiful garden. We had both breakfast and dinner and both were great. We will definitely stay here again.

One night we came back around 11 pm. For some reason the shower water was not hot but it was just once. We had plenty of hot water other times.

Restaurant evening meal was excellent! Menu really interesting, food great and also great service.

Very nice view, room was spacious and comfortable bed.

Did not like bathroom arrangement, with step into bathroom, also high step over bath to get into shower, dangerous, needs a hand rail.water took a long time to heat up in shower, no shower curtain.tea/coffee making facilities would be expected in a 4 star hotel.

Bathroom was very outdated, very small bath towels, bed not very comfortable

Towels were off a poor quality Shower was over the bath and a bit slippery to get in and out. Would be better with a walk in shower.

Great location as very close to the motorway. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were upgraded to a superior room. The room was very comfortable and the gardens outside were lovely. We ate at the resturant, although the choice was limited the food was very nice .

There were no tea / coffee making facilities in the room . The bathroom door was open in the middle with a wire design so no privacy in the bathroom .

Everything. It was fab from the time we got there till we left. Wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful building and grounds which are 2 dogs loved. The food in the restaurant in the evening was amazing and such friendly service. The breakfast with all the little touches was so nice. We will definitely stop off again on our next trip. Perfect for a 1 night stay just off the motorway with our dog. There is a lovely little area to exercise dogs. The food in the restaurant was special and they had our favourite Olga Raffault wine. The staff were really lovely and helpful. It was a real treat staying here and we plan to return on our way home.

Super hotel, lovely people, they accepted dogs and the restaurant was exceptional, we only stayed one night but could happily have stayed for longer. Have recommended to friends and will stay again.

The room was dated and uninspiring, the whole place was not joined up.

Everything was great from the reception staff who immediately offered us a ground floor room,as I have trouble with stairs, to the unusual and attractive bedroom, the views over lake with a swan, a heron and ducks, the wonderful indoor pool and the absolutely superb restaurant.

Exceptional room.Very nice breakfast.Bit disappointed on our first night dinner because we had to have the foreshortened menu but this was more than made up for by the second night when we were treated to a superb meal.

Fair to say that there was no aspect of our stay which disappointed.The staff were friendly and kind without exception and we would recommend a stay to any foodies such as ourselves !

Eclectic hotel. Large spacious airy public spaces with a pool in the centre. Unusual and interesting.Set in a lovely garden with a large pool with wildlife.We had a medieval type of room with tapestries and stone floors , quite unique.Staff extremely helpful.Sainte , a beautiful town with a plethora of roman remains, well worth a visit.

Too long to list…Room In need of a total revamp. Shower was new but everything is over 10 yrs old +There is a musky dampish odour to the room and corridors approaching. Bed is uncomfortable cheap mattress. Never stayed in a four star hotel that offers one yes one small bottle of water only in the entire mini bar?!No restaurant for lunch or dinner ?!? And thats arriving at @ 13.40 pm on a saturdayVery very disappointing for over 320 euros for bed and breakfast only with no food available and no local restaurants!

Shame the kitchen was closed although the substitute was acceptable.

Excellent stay again. The hotel is really different. We stayed in the 20,000 leagues under the sea themed room!!!The staff were very helpful and friendly ?
