Sure Hotel by Best Western Saintes

friendly staff, good restaurant next door

Great location - easy access off the motorway, with fuel station and supermarket only a short drive away. There is private parking between the buildings, out of sight and away from passersby, which is reassuring. The staff sent clear arrangements for my late arrival.

Clean, recently renovated room with comfortable bed. Location close to main roads. Restaurant and boulanger directly next to the hotel

Quite far from city center.

Not much. Bathroom ok. Breakfast reasonable.

Small bed and very cramped room. Decoration has seen better days - lots broken and chipped. Heater didn’t work. Terrible mosquitos - got bitten all night. Fire alarm went off at 6am.

Bad

The bed was infested with bugs, my entire family couldn’t sleep due to constant itching

Good room bed and bathroom

Outside spaces messy and run down

Location, car park

Husband can't walk well no lift breakfast mediocre

Beautiful, simple, super price, clean, friendly, delicious, and healthy breakfast, nice location, comfortable. Very nice.

Easy to find hotel on outskirts of Saintes. Pleasant room, recently painted, coffee/ tea in room, new showerroom with very nice shower. Breakfast had a reasonable choice, OK for the price.

Reception closed on arrival though we were earlier than expected. Plenty of parking but no overnight security. TV in room had little or no reception. Bedroom was cold on arrival but it did warm up with the aircon. Coffee and tea were available but only 1 of each - sad if you both wanted tea with milk for example.

Good location just off the motorway - stopover en route to Spain.Decent La Boucherie chain restaurant next door was dog friendly. Dog friendly hotel with a cheerful receptionist. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom with a bath. Tea and coffee making facilities in room. Modest but plentiful buffet breakfast. Large supermarket a few mins drive away.

Cardboard cups for tea in room.Kept awake by banging window shutters in the night but to be fair it was very stormy!

Great location for us. Just of the main road and lots of parking. The girls on reception were very friendly and both spoke good English. Room was very clean and warm.

The bed was a bit small for us. You can only check in after 17.00. We arrived at 15.30 so had to find somewhere to wait which wasn’t easy on a Sunday. Tv very small and only French. This overall was not an issue as all we really wanted was somewhere to sleep on our journey from Spain to the uk.

Dark rooms, friendly staff and great coffee! Had a good rest here.

The sound proofing is not amazing, so if you are sensitive to noise you can hear a bit of the highway.

Very easy to find with a decent restaurant next door. Clean and comfortable with great bathroom and plenty of hot water

No lift and we were 2 flights up which wasn't ideal.

Position. Price. Good restaurant next door.Hotel being renovated.

No secure parking.Bar.

Clean room, nice staff, nice bfast area

Beds are too soft

Location and price were ok

The room had spiders (one on the wall and one the bedsheets) and the breakfast was very limited, low variety and the quality was not the best.

Location and good value for money

The bed was too short. Considering the fact that I’m not very tall . My feet were over the end of the bed.

Easy to locate from autoroute. Plenty of parking. Next to good restaurant, " La Boucherie". Near Super U filling station and Super U hypermarket.

Noisy toilet due to drip causing toilet to keep flushing.

Spacious well appointed rooms with good breakfast.

Close to the motorway

Very dirty, the carpet was covered in dog’s hair. We had to clean all our bags before leaving. Breakfast was extremely poor…
