The hotel was quite clean with daily cleaning, the staff were very nice, and the location was very good.

Breakfast was extremely disappointing—very limited options and even cold crepes were served. For the price, this was unacceptable. The room also lacked many basics: no refrigerator, no separate shampoo or hand soap, no telephone, and no safe. On top of that, there were very few electrical outlets, with none on one side of the bed.

Location, clean, met expectations.

Nothing. Like most French hotels with bath plus shower, they should have a grab bar to stabilize yourself as you get out after a shower. Slips and falls are the most common injuries for seniors.

The young lady receptionist seemed to be doing everything and yet she was very welcoming and helpful. The hotel offers to do a load of laundry (wash, dry, fold) for only 12€. What a bargain and it was nicely folded and back in our room when we returned from dinner. She informed us we could park directly on the street in front of the hotel and lent us a blue parking card to place in the car. The hotel is in a terrific location. It is only a short walk to the old town and the market hall. My husband purchased some of the best pastries we have had in our 5 weeks in France at the market.

The bed could have been wider - there was room between the tables on either side of the headboard.

Large comfortable room with chairs and table. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was within walking distance of the walled city and restaurants.

Central location. Secure off-street parking nearby. Air-conditioning. Quiet room despite facing a busy street. Helpful and friendly staff. Good value.

Great location just metres from the town and port. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very secure and private parking owned by the hotel a cross the road for our motorcycle overnight.

Unfortunately, the floors are extremely squeaky and we had somebody above us who was extremely noisy thought the night and morning.

Car park for hotel guests over the road from hotel. Hotels location easy to get to shops restaurants etc. Breakfast good.

Concarneau is a lovely village and Hôtel de France is a small, clean place to stay there.

Really nice hotel. Easy walk to the the centre of concarneau, around 3 mins. Friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again. We were on a motorbike and they have secure parking for the bike. all very good

If your room is at the front you can hear traffic a little but it was very quiet in the evening

Nothing, all good. Pink stain on duvet cover but didn't complain as just turned it over.

Helpful proprietor and good to have a general lounge and terrace, a lift and a kettle in the room. Breakfast good and closed parking option useful.

Room a bit small and opening the window let street noise in, so better to use air con.
