Hotel De La Gare

The room was spotless! Nice sized room with a very comfortable bed, good pillows, and nice towels. Very friendly and helpful team at reception desk. Good location to walk into town.

It is practical to have breakfast at the hotel, and the server was very nice. There is yogurt, à variety of jam, cereals, and you are offered juice and a plate of bread: a good croissant, but the baguette was underbaked and the crepe was rubbery. €12 seems a bit high, when there is a nice bakery just down the street.

staff were lovely and amazing, in particular Alexandra and Russe. The room was large and comfortable and breakfast was a delight with local jams and crepes.

It was very conveniently located for the old town and had car parking. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

The bathroom wasn’t very clean and we were given a stained towel which although had been cleaned previously was horrible.

Motel like hotel. Our room opened on to car park. Room and bathroom very basic, not particularly comfortable. Service not good, given wrong code for Wi-Fi 1st night. At breakfast tables were not set up, so we had to ask for items like plates, cutlery etc all the time. Neighbourhood not the best. Close to railway station for rail travellers.

Good location. Basic continental breakfast. Comfy and easy to access. Small parking behind the hotel or carpark across the road. Friendly staff.

Some personnel is nice and helpful (others are kinda mean). The beds were ok.

They confirmed my check in at 2, even sent a message saying they can keep baggages until 3, but the hotel was completely closed till 3, so no point in it being next to the station, I had to haul our stuff around.Also, they made me ACTUALLY PAY the deposit, not just take my card number (I must look like a real hooligan)

The room was very simple but spacious, quiet and clean. There is no elevator and we were on the second floor so be prepared to haul your suitcases up two flights of stairs. The location was convenient for walking to the old town. Breakfast was good. If you have a chance the Pizzeria de Quai was extraordinary.

Breakfast very good. Good location opposite train station and 10 mins. walk from town centre. Bed v. comfortable.

Room a little plain, lack of view, not light although airy enough.

Room was adequate in size with working heating. We didn't stay for breakfast so cannot comment on that.Secure parking was good and location was reasonably close to the old town.Receptio had closed by the time we arrived but the lady from the hire car office next door telephone for us and they opened reception and allowed us to put the car in the car park so we could explore the town.

Television stopped working soon after we arrived and staff were unable to fix it even though they were very helpful and tried hard to rectify it.

I didn't like the fact that booking.com hide the "hold fee on the room" way down in your info about the hotel. you need to put that up front. I was surprised to be notified that a temp hold was placed on my card.

Convenient location close to Quimper station, but in a rather run down area. Comfortable beds; very small bathroom, with modern fittings. Reasonable breakfast, but nothing special.

The room was quite small and was (unexpectedly) motel type, with direct access to a car park. Quite dark and rather basic. Reception only open for limited hours. Receptionist made no allowance for our only moderate French. A damage deposit of 250 euros was pre authorised, which we have never been asked for in many places elsewhere. (No damage so it was not taken). General atmosphere quite unfriendly apart from the breakfast lady.
