    Pros +

    • The hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The architecture is inspired by Spanish colonial design, with a beautiful central courtyard. The breakfast everyday is made with love with baked goods, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt and homemade daily items. The rooms are bright and clean with great showers and hot water, which isn't always guaranteed in parts of Peru. The staff is warm and welcoming, as well as the management. There is always complimentary coffee and tea available, including coca tea for altitude adjustment. Would stay here over and over again.
    • Location, Colonial arquitecture, central garden
    • Excellent location and service. Quiet despite being in center. Rooms were underwhelming and not exactly as promised. A dignitary was staying there so perhaps that is why the room was moved to a dark corner. Breakfast very limited but adequate.

    Cons -

    • Lights on night tables do not work for reading. Beds were not bad but could be better. Coffee machine from Britt is an insult, if there is such great coffee in the area.
    • Room facilities are good but could be better for that price
    • Not sure there was snygging

Very friendly staff, nice inside yard, very good self service breakfast

Room facilities are good but could be better for that price

We were lucky enough to get a large room for just the two of us...The view down into the patio was relaxing. The room was very clean but fairly basic. The staff was very responsive...when we asked for a heater it was promptly provided. The hotel location was close to the city square. The breakfast was plentifully good.

Bed was confi, location good, people very friendly and helpful

I reserved a upper room with balcony, but was not available, instead the low floor room received a lot of noise from the upper floor, children jumping, etc. because the sealing was not soundproof., Wifi was not good as requested, and often losed the signal. The breakfast was not my taste. No hangers for the bath towels, the shower was not very good and water leaked into the bathroom cleanness of the room could have been better, too.

Beautiful hotel with sunny courtyard and an eye for detail, friendly and very helpful staff, good breakfast.

Helpful staff and a very comforatable room. The inner Courtyard was beautiful and the breakfast was great.

    9AlejandroPosted on: 6-4-2024

We got upgraded to a bigger room at no cost. It was our anniversary and the hotel had a nice gesture with us. The hotel is very confortable and close to the Plaza de Armas.

The breakfast could be improved with a bit more of variety and quality of the bread (was a bit dry). Early mornings can be a bit cold, so heating in the room would have been nice.

Beautiful building, helpful staff that accepted a couple of check in/out requests which was much appreciated.

The breakfast juices and yogurts were very nice but the coffee wasn’t good and I would have expected better quality bread and a choice of eggs at least. The breakfast lady was lovely though. Just not that good breakfast for type of hotel.

    9PhilipPosted on: 12-19-2022

Very friendly staff provided a warm reception and allowed early check-in. The facility is excellent - very tasteful modern construction in the style of colonial Peru.
