    Cons -

    • -Wifi did not work properly on my room (the worst experience on a wifi)-The bed where we slept was a two single bed put together and during the night they would slip from each other creating a space in between.
    • We staid for 1 week.Sorry this is not 5 stars, maybe a 2.5 t o3.Bathroom air flow ventilator broken.Bathtub with a yellowish color and discolorations spots.Stupid bathroom door design with glas so you child can see you on the toilet.Rude staff at bars, the tall lay at the lobby bar made a inappropriate comment in the first night of us arriving just for asking to bring us a juice from the bar for a child. This at a all inclusive.Food was more cantina style rehatted, got bored after 2 days . Same meat mix and taste for all burgers/meatballs/etc Beverages / local alcohol sucked, all wines tasted the same, red wine testes like white wine and vice versa. Only good to drink Pepsi and coffee.People booking via agency got it for 500-600 euros compared to what we paid on booking.com, refund ? Closer to the real value of this place.

The hosts were very kind and helped us with everything we needed. They even upgraded our room and treated us with great hospitality. The place is clean, beautiful, and very relaxing. Highly recommended.

The location is excellent - close to Mount Olympus, a short drive from Meteora, and with direct access to the beach. The restaurant serves good food for buffet standards, though you shouldn’t expect much seafood. The three outdoor pools were a highlight, and the resort also organizes activities like aqua gym and pilates (be sure to confirm the schedule at reception, as it doesn’t always match what’s posted). The tennis court works for a casual game or two, but there’s only one, and it’s concrete with fairly low quality. Parking was easy, and the on-site shop offers reasonable prices. The beach is lovely, with just a few pebbles at the entrance before turning into smooth sand, and sunbeds are always available. The live cooking station was a nice touch, with a very friendly chef. As a welcoming gesture, we received wine and fruit upon arrival in our room, which was much appreciated.

There was a persistent sewage odor coming from the bathroom drains. Although reception addressed it after we complained, the smell lingered throughout our stay. At one meal, we were served California rolls made with carrot instead of salmon. The balcony door shuts automatically, which makes it easy to get locked out. The pillows were uncomfortably thick, though reception was able to provide slimmer alternatives upon request. Drinks at the bar were quite expensive.Access to the indoor pool at the spa requires an hourly fee, and unfortunately the water jets weren’t working. Massages were also overpriced, ranging between €50 and €100 for less than an hour. The gym was poorly equipped, with no dumbbells heavier than 10kg. The toilet paper was initially 1-ply (unusual for a hotel), though it was replaced with 2-ply on the final day.It would have been nice if the very small pool table was free for guests, but there’s a charge. At dinner, all beverages - including water - must be purchased, and bringing your own drinks isn’t allowed. The TV in the room is not smart.

Location is great, close to Mount Olympus, short drive to Meteora and had direct beach access. Restaurant food was quite good, even though it is at buffet level, don't expect seafood. The 3 outdoor pools were great. Some activities were organized by the resort: aqua gym and pilates (ask at the reception about the activities and meeting place because they don't match the schedule on the panel). The tennis court was good for a couple of games, but it is just one and it is made of concrete and poor quality. The parking wasn't an issue. There's a shop inside the resort with good prices. The beach is nice, a few pebbles when entering the sea, but after that it's smooth sand. There's no issue finding a sunbed. The chef that was cooking live was very friendly. We were offered wine and fruit when we checked into the room.

The smell of sewage coming from the bathroom drains. It was kind of sorted out after complaining at the reception, but the smell still persisted throughout the stay. We were served California sushi rolls with carrot instead of salmon. The balcony door closes automatically, so you can easily get trapped on the balcony. The pillows were extremely thick and uncomfortable, but you can ask at the reception for slimmer pillows. Drinks at the bar were quite pricey. To access the indoor pool at the spa you have to pay a per hour fee and the water jets did not work. All the massages are super expensive between 50 and 100 euros for less than 1 hour. The gym is very poorly equipped: does not have dumbbells over 10kg. I haven't seen 1-ply toilet paper in a hotel in while, but was replaced with a 2-ply on the last day. Would have been nice if the very very small pool table was free to use by the guests. You have to pay for all beverages at dinner (including water) and can't bring outside drinks.

The pool area in Dion Palace Resort is very pleasant, even better than expected! Having a glass of “welcome” wine on the balcony while enjoying the view was just perfect, and we also liked the inside pool at the spa premises with the sunroof! Thank you for the hospitality, we’ll be back again!

There’s no jacuzzi! Having one or two hot tubs outside, near the swimming pools will be perfect for a longer stay in this resort, specially in September!

Our stay at Dion Palace Resort and Spa was truly wonderful! ?️The food is of top quality with a wide variety of dishes and drinks – everything fresh and delicious. The beach is excellent, clean, and well-organized, the perfect place for relaxation.Special praise goes to the reception staff – the best we’ve ever experienced, always friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable.A truly high-class hotel that we wholeheartedly recommend and would gladly return to again!

There is no toilet near the beach, weak internet and mobile network.

The location is the hotel's greatest advantage. For the third year in a row, we chose this hotel because of the lonely beaches nearby. We don't use the sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach in front of the hotel, but visit the wild beaches in the area because they are not crowded — which is very important for us when choosing a hotel.Room cleanliness is at a good level, with sheets and towels being changed regularly.

We were extremely disappointed with our stay this year compared to 2023 and 2024, and this will be our last visit to the hotel. The hotel's current rating no longer corresponds to 5 stars, mainly due to the low quality of food in the main restaurant. The variety and quality of the food is more on the level of a 2 or 3-star hotel. We can make an objective comparison because we've stayed at the hotel for three consecutive years and can clearly see a serious decline in 2025.They serve only the cheapest and most basic food — rice, potatoes, vegetables, pasta. There's no variety, just 2–3 main dishes, and everything else consists of low-quality cheap side dishes. The fish was frozen and of the cheapest kind available on the market — white fish or hake with terrible taste. Our expectations for a 5-star hotel in Greece include the daily availability of fresh fish and seafood meals. Unfortunately, that is not the case here. There were no traditional Greek dishes at all. Desserts were also made with low-quality cheap ingredients. The price of the hotel definitely does not match the quality of the food. The second issue was the terrible smell coming from the bathroom drains. As far as we understood, this is a problem in the other rooms as well. The unpleasant smell reaches the main room. The third unpleasant issue was the large presence of animals in the outdoor restaurant area. This is extremely unhygienic and poses a potential health risk for hotel guests. There are always at least 4–5 cats under the tables, and no one from the restaurant staff takes any action. In addition, two large dogs are constantly around the pool area and even get into the water, without any reaction from the hotel staff. And finally, there is absolutely no evening entertainment for guests, which made us go out to Litochoro.

We had a wonderful stay at Dion Palace in Litochoro. The entire staff was extremely kind and helpful, and we felt truly welcome from the very first moment. A special thank you to the manager – a beautiful blonde lady (unfortunately I didn’t catch her name) – who surprised us with an upgrade to a stunning sea-front bungalow even though we had booked a simpler room. This thoughtful gesture made our holiday unforgettable. From the bottom of our hearts, a perfect 10/10 for the hotel and the whole team.

I had a wonderful stay at Dion Palace! The staff was incredibly polite and attentive, always making sure I felt welcome. The food was absolutely delicious with plenty of variety and fresh flavors. The atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing and inviting, which made my time there truly enjoyable. I would happily return and highly recommend Dion Palace to anyone looking for a great experience.

The air conditioner was weak for me. I couldn't make it colder and I felt good only when I was under the air flow. Away from the air flow it was hot and I was sweating. There were no outlets near the bed. The Wi-Fi was very unstable.

    8NikolaPosted on: 9-6-2025

The staff was very polite, always willing to assist with any question we had. The food was great as well. The hotel is not new but very clean. The beach was very nice. Extra credit to the girls working at the beach bar, the coffee was really good.

Occasional sewage smell from the bathroom drain and ventilation system, sometimes lasting through the entire night... Also, many guests just didn't want to follow one of the basic beach rules not to reserve sunbeds in the morning, leaving sunbeds empty (not using them, only having their towels left) until noon, making it impossible for other guests to use the sunbeds. There was no staff that would keep an eye on sunbeds and their occupancy. One more thing, the terraces didn't have any privacy panels in between, anyone sitting late at night at the terraces would prevent others from sleeping with the terrace door open. One recommendation is to make deserts more diversified.

    Location near sea

The hotel is advertised as a 5 star but realistically it’s a 2 star accommodation the room wasn’t what I booked it was dusty and there was a huge spider behind the TV the entire place is very outdated and needs full renovation the breakfast and meals were very poor no drinks provided not even soft additionally on booking it says 5 minutes away from the city/town not true there is nothing in the entire surrounding! Finally for a Spa hotel to close the pool at 18:00 was really disappointing wouldn’t recommend the place it’s over priced and pictures are not realistic

After booking this hotel and reading some of the reviews here, I was a bit skeptical about what to expect. After 8 days spent here, I have to say this place is beautiful, and we had a great vacation. Everything works perfectly; the staff is helpful and hardworking, always there for anything you might need; there are two big parking lots, so it is easy to find a parking spot even when the hotel is completely occupied with guests; WiFi works flawlessly everywhere (room, lobby, restaurant, pools, even beach!); and the food is delicious if you are on a typical carnivore diet. The AC unit was brand new in our room, but there was no need to use it, although days were hot outside, but windy, and nights were fresh. Probably because of the wind there were no mosquitoes at all, zero during our stay. Request a 'do not disturb' sign at the hotel reception and hang it on your room door handle, and simply flip it to 'service' when you need room maintenance, and you will not be surprised by cleaning staff while resting in your room (many people complained about that in reviews). I could write more and counter most of the negative comments, but I will stop here. It's a lovely resort with a high value and lots of things to enjoy!

    7IvanaPosted on: 8-4-2025

The air conditioner in the room was not working, and we complained several times, but it could not be fixed. The hotel also did not offer another room or any alternative solution, and considering it was July, it was extremely difficult to stay in a room without air conditioning.

    8Ionut M.Posted on: 7-31-2025

It was clean, the garden, the pools and beach were very nice, the hotel employees were pleasant and eager to help. The room was big enough with a big terrace with a very nice view of the sea, the cleaning was done daily. The food was good, tasteful, but not that diversified specifically at breakfast also some of the vegetables were sliced way too early and kept in the fridge which dried them (especially the cucumbers). The AC unit was pretty new and kept the room cool which was nice.Overall the conditions were good, but they aren't 5 stars (more in the 4 stars range)

The furniture from the room was a bit outdated, and not quite practical... There weren't too many options for storing various items if you travel with a small child (3 year old). The TV in the room had connection issues, the tv signal was unstable and although it was a smart tv the apps weren't available, that was a bit of an issue for us because our child was not able to watch any of the preferred content. The benefits from the all inclusive weren't that wow...

    8Georgi N.Posted on: 7-26-2025

    Room, beach was very good

Food in restaurant is from poor products - for example feta cheese and unbelievable in the Greek sea - FROZEN fish fingers and cheap wine. For a week stay - our room was cleaned 2 times, because other days the cleaners came between 14;00 an 16;00. Good hotel, bad management!
