The Hotel's location, the garden, the service of the staff.The room was very nice.

Maybe a liittle overpriced

This property is exceptional in terms of design and facility and attention to detail. We stayed at two different high-end hotels in Puglia that were approximately the same price. However, La Fiermontina was truly unique. What makes the difference is that the staff is incredibly attentive and they they create a very family-like atmosphere while still maintaining a feeling of professionalism and high and hospitality.

BEAUTIFUL AND ELEGANT HOTEL IN THE HISTORIC CENTER BUT IN A QUIET SECTION. THE STAFF ARE WARM AND ATTENTIVE AND VERY HELPFUL - ESPECIALLY IN SECURING AMAZING DINNER RESERVATIONS AND EXCURSIONS. YOU CAN ALSO VISIT THEIR OTHER PROPERTY ALSO IN THE HISTORIC CENTER AND HAVE DRINKS AND WATCH THE SUNSET ON THEIR BEAUTIFUL ROOFTOP WHERE ATTENTIVE BAR TENDERS ENJOY MAKING DELICIOUS COCKTAILS. THERE IS ALSO A MUSEUM WITH THE STORY OF THE HOTEL- BEAUTIFULLY APPOINTED WITH AMAZING PIECES OF ART.

LOVED EVERYTHING!!

Beautiful clean hotel, with an excelent location to visit Lecce. A 10 min walk to the main square, while being in a quiet street. Breakfast buffet was very good, lacking only some options for children.

A la carte breakfast options were underwelming. Service around the pool area coud be improved.

Architecture of this property is beautiful. Stunning interiors. Pool area lovely. Bed very comfortable.

Location in Lecce is perfect and hotel and surroundings very well looked after.Staff at this hotel were exceptional and happily assissted us with a small problem we had.Room was large and very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast well catered for and staff at breakfast very attentive. Although rather expensive, probably the best hotel we stayed in while in Puglia.

The staff are very courteous and kind but the for a hotel of this standard some of the main staff comprehension of English is poor we experienced a few mistakes made.

This is a pleasant hotel with generally friendly staff in a convenient location. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is good.

There were six of us, so it seemed more convenient to travel around in a seven seater car with a driver, as we did successfully in Sicily last year. Our visits to local areas seemed expensive but not excessive. However, when it came to transferring to our next hotel in Ostuni, about an hour away, we questioned what seemed to be an outrageous charge but were told it was because we would require a larger vehicle due to our luggage and there was complicated access to the hotel. Neither was true. I subsequently wrote to the hotel to query why we were charged almost 600 euros for a journey that should have cost closer to 200 euros, but was firstly ignored and have now been fobbed off with a story about their Public Manager having problems with access to emails. This is unacceptable behaviour from a supposedly five star hotel. On another matter, the pillows are very hard, but they didn’t have enough soft ones to fulfil our request to change them.

Room was on the smaller side, and could have used better lighting

The breakfast in the garden was memorable. The service was exceptional. They remembered how we liked our eggs cooked and that we liked toast. The breads, croissants, pastries were excellent.

We had a so called junior suite which actually was a bedroom and bathroom. Not as advertised and very expensive.

Beautiful hotel , lovely staff , owner Antonia very personable and advises on day excursions. Very comfortable and relaxing rooms and outdoor areas . Food excellent. Perfect location to explore lovely Lecce

Everything lovely except gardening and pool maintenance could perhaps be better timed so the pool is available to guests on short stays

Wonderfully attentive staff, Antonia, the owner present and most welcoming, including the gratis tour of the family museum..architecture and art works most interesting, and spacious calm gardens and environment, rooms spacious and well equipped.

Slight problem with noisy air conditioner, but solved by changing rooms

The location is perfect and the breakfast menu's offering is fair but it would be much more appealing to have a buffet showcasing regional specialities as in most high end Italian hotels . The croissant and other sweet pastries were excellent.

I am neat picking as our room was lovely and large. The bathroom mirror with the direct lighting from above, aside from being unflattering was not sufficient to either shave or do one's make up. The lone basin/sink is too small for the water pressure from the tap/faucet. The water was all over the sides even when one is careful not to open the tap/faucet too much.
