Pros +
- The room is very large and clean, with a big comfortable bed and all the necessary kitchen facility. The swimming pool and the SPA were clean and functioning well. The staff is super friendly.
- I had a relaxing stay at Parklands Hotel. One of the highlights was how quiet the place was—I got to enjoy the pool all to myself and had uninterrupted workouts at the gym, which was a rare treat. The room itself was comfortable and pleasant.
- Location was nice, near the mountains and ski lift.Good amnesties, looked like a renovated clean apartment.Comfortable main bed.
Cons -
- The location is a bit far from the center in the neighborhood that seems to be still under construction.
- They asked me to pay extra if I wanted to use the oven and the stove. That was not mentioned in the offer when I booked the room. Not really nice
- I specifically booked a studio so I could use the kitchenette, but was disappointed to find out that you have to pay extra just to have electricity turned on for it. I couldn’t even boil eggs. While they mentioned it’s written somewhere that the kitchenette is available for an additional charge, I find it quite stingy to advertise a studio with kitchenette and then limit its use unless you pay more. This should be more clearly stated upfront. The other downside was that the jacuzzi was not very clean.

Sofa bed not so comfortable. There were no outside bars for Windows being on the top floor. Quite dangerous for children as they were able to open the windows themselves (suggestion to evaluate this)There were no mosquito nets, especially now during summer (suggestion to evaluate this).
Excellent hotel, quiet and clean. Peaceful area away from the crowds. I got a very spacious studio, comfortably furnished. Fully equipped kitchenette yet all appliances are disabled (unexpected decision but it was clearly communicated, so not a surprise)
There is ambient music all around the hotel, including, for some odd reasons, in the private bathrooms.
Not much
The scheduled 7:30 am breakfast was cancelled since some football club team guests didn't want breakfast until 9;30 . My child was waiting and crying for two hours without food .also NO AIR CONDITIONING in the summer heat. Finally , they turned off the electricity in the kitchen so even though they didn't have breakfast I could not cook for my son . Horrible experience. Also muddy dirt road to access and the parking also dirt road .
The only thing that was as advertised was the size of the apartment we rented. It had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The mini-kitchen had a coffee machine.
Apartment was in the attic (last floor). The ceiling was very low in many areas so I had to duck to walk around. Walls were dirty. There were no insect nets at the windows, so when we arrived there were quite a lot of bugs around. There is no air conditioning. It might work in winter, but at 30 celsius, the roof heats up and it's unbearable. Add to that the lack of insect nets and you get a choice: roast to death or open the windows and get bitten by insects. Doors weren't closing properly. The livingroom table was cracked and looked badly kept. The hotel was very crowded with 2 full football teams and they were very noisy. We could hear the guests next door watching a football match and screaming as if they were in the room with us. Walls were probably just one thin sheet of plaster. The staff was not friendly at all. The hotel overbooked our friends and the staff's reaction was something like: we can't give you a room, take care. Zero attempts at finding a solution for a family with small children. Luckily, booking.com staff are a lot better and they helped them find another hotel in the same evening. All in all, a very bad experience.
Nice clean apartment, stuff are polite, pool is ok not too big though. Spa is small - 2 saunas and a steam room
Dinner could be much better - there was limited variety to choose from
During our stay there were many children checked-in the hotel and it was noisy and quite chaotic in the lobby and hallways and even from outside where they were doing some activities in the early morning. The staff who greeted us when we checked-in is nice and polite but the following day, the receptionist is quite nonchalant and could do better I think. The room is big and spacious but could use some touch ups and renovation as there are stains on the wooden table which gives an impression that it wasn’t clean. The faucet in the kitchen sink didn’t have cold water. The water was boiling hot. The location of the hotel though is very accessible and you could walk to the city center. The pool is quite good and big too but the water temperature could be a bit warmer I guess as it was about 28 degrees celsius. The whole hotel could use some renovation as it is quite outdated.
Apartment was spacious. Amazing view (top floor) of the Pirin Mountains.
Surrounding area is messy
I liked the swimming pool with glass roof with beautiful view of sky. Sauna and jacuzzi were in good shape. The shuttle from hotel to the gondola and the other around was very comfy with friendly drivers. Our room was spacious with good sun light. We booked a double bedroom but checked in twin bedroom. We had half board meal in our booking and the restaurant was ok. Ski equipment booking in the hotel was fair and friendly. The staffs of reception were a little bit grumpy and not helpful in different occasions when we had an interaction with them.
The location was perfect just a 6 minute walk to the gondola. The room was imaculate, fresh towels daily and super spacious. The staff were all lovely and friendly and all the pool facilities were superb. Everyone was accommodating and the hotel itself was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious all the food tasted fresh couldn’t fault it at all!
Clean rooms,good spa,perfect massage:)),good food,good location,warm
Friendly staff, clean and great location
Nothing was all good
Great value for money Friendly and helpful staff, clean and tidy. Long operating hours of the spa and good spa facilities sauna, hot tub jacuzzi and a nice gym, great free shuttle services to the gondola, there is a skiing equipment rental in the hotel which is very professional with good quality equipment and good service. Breakfast was good and plenty of options.
Dinner could have been better I mean there was a big selection but it wasn't very good. The sofa bed was not very comfortable.
Stuff was great, the hotel cleaned and well maintained, has pool and tree saunas that worked until 21:00. Rooms are spacious, had everything you need. They have shuttle with friendly amazing driver Mehmet, who take you to the gondola and back for free. Receptionists helped us to find ski instructors and were extremely helpful. Keep in mind, ski room isn’t free of charge and closes at 18:00. That was a bit of issue for us since we like doing apres ski roll late.
The infrastructure around the hotel is horrible. They don’t have an exit to street, there are some weird shortcuts where I fell and got injured. The hotel stuff gave me ice and took care of me later, but you must be ready to walk long long way around to get to the gondola or risk when you climb this shortcut
Lots of choice ie fruits, seeds, eggs and pork products and some salad. Good coffee machines
Outside space seating in the sunshine could be developed where waste ground or car park currently very good sits
Very large apartment, very clean, near the gondola. Staff very friendly, earlier check-in and later check-out was possible. Spa and pool was very good.
I liked the apartment , big, enough space for us
We didn’t enjoyed The food, for the future it’s better to avoid breakfast or dinner , me and my family we had stomach issues for 2 days
The location was great. It is a very short walk to the main gondola - about 7 minutes and to lots of shops and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool, jacuzzi and sauna rooms were very nice. Our room was also bigger than expected and very nice with 2 balconies.
The sofa bed in the living room was a little uncomfortable.
