MPM Hotel Sport Ski-in, Ski-out

Staff was very friendly. In particular, Boran Baz's warm welcome and attentive service during breakfast made us feel right at home.

We liked the location very much, the fact that ending our skiing was right next to the hotel if you came down on the last slope was really great. But even if you took the cable car, it was very convenient.We enjoyed the spa facility, it was very relaxing to go down after a day of skiing.The breakfast was especially nice, the staff was very thoughtful, the head of the kitchen, Boran was very kind and prepared wonderful food for us every morning.

Sometimes we felt a couple of things were missing from the room, like there was tea but no kettle, or the toilet paper was not replaced only after we asked. Only minor things but it can make a difference when taken care of. Also the phone in our room didn’t work so whenever we needed something he had to go down and ask personally.

Breakfast and people there was super. My kid has allergies so every holiday has an extra challenge for us and the Chef Bora there helped us with soup and also with toasts in the morning. So I am grateful for that. I overall enjoyed our stay there.

At the checkout, I learned the coffee and water in the room is free. I wish I knew it. There were prices next to coffee and water in the menu, so I thought it is with money, but it turns out it is not.

Definitely not worth over 600 EUR per night, this is far from a luxury hotel. Breakfast was not good. On top of that, they made me pay the parking - to stay in their own hotel, after I already paid a lot of money. That's what I call cheapness.

The room was spacious, the breakfast was great, the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel and room were clean and had great facilities and looked like the photos.

The only thing I didn't like was the mattress was a bit too firm for my liking but it was good in general. Everything else at the hotel made up for that.

Spa is good. Rooms are large. Ski access is convenient with a nice ski school (twins) connected to the hotel.

Massage was bad I tried two, I don’t recommend. Breakfast restaurant was small, so you have to wait for tables. Breakfast is average.

We are regular visitors in Bansko, more or less 2-3 Trips every year.I have always liked the Hotel Sport and I have stayed quite a few times in the past.It's an ideal location, practically ski in - ski out possible.New bed mattresses for better sleep.

Since 2024 the hotel has been supposed to upgrade from a 4 star to a 5 star hotel.Why? For what?As a repeating guest, myself and my friends have not noticed any substantial difference or upgrade to justify the 5th Star.This time we visited the Hotel in early April, 2 weeks before the end of their season.No honey in the breakfast buffet? I had to ask kindly the front desk and they provided some honey in the next days.Furthermore, we always take the Half board option to make sure we have a proper dinner inside after a long skiing day.They had decided to change from the rich buffet to a simple 3 course dinner, with a small salad, a soup , and one main course.Practically not enough food for people who ski all day.A very small salad, one soup and a very small portion of food for the main course.I wish I had kept a single picture of the main course which wasn't more than 60-70gr of chicken or pork.All in all, we were all disappointed by the dinner.At least they could have provided a salad buffet, or the possibility to have and a second main course.When I asked for having one more main course, the restaurant manager explained that I would have to pay for the whole 3 courses menu.In other words, there was no flexibility to satisfy the guests and we didn't like that.This is definitely no 5 Star service.Last, they keep charging extra the open car parking, which is ok even if most of the hotels in Bansko have a free car parking space.Unfortunately however it remains to be full of dirt ground and mud in the winter.At least they could have fixed that.We still try to understand what was the 5 star upgrade all about..

Family suite spacious and plenty of room. Brilliant pool and spa facilities, ski in/out from hotel. Great choice for us, highly recommend!

Netflix didn’t work intermittently in the room, otherwise couldn’t fault it

Near the ski lift, hot tub and spa were great. Staff was brilliant ?

The temperature of the pool was not warm enough for swimming. The kids' menu was the same for the duration of our stay. There was no toaster at breakfast.

The room was pretty big with a beautiful mountain and ski lift view. Everything was very clean. The breakfast was very diverse and delicious.

Bad value for money. The spa centre was an excuse of a spa centre - pool was with cold water (approximately 22-24 degrees), one of the saunas was not warm enough, the jacuzzi was super simple with no massage functions. It was hard to reach the parking and we were told it was 20 lv per night which is not acceptable for a 5 star hotel. The dinner was a three course meal for 60 lv with only a few options to choose from. We had requested a cot for our 1 year old baby and they had provided a sofa bed which was obviously not applicable.

The breakfast was very poor for a 5* hotel, we were told when we arrived the toaster had broke & it wasn't being replaced.so lots of bread but no toaster.

Location good, facilities good. Staff friendly

Location was great, litterly skiied from the hotel to the gondola and from the mountains back to the hotel, there is a tidy little hire centre under the hotel and a nice little restaurant, the main bar was spot on with a special mention to Diana Yan Alex and Tahsin

Not alot really

This was our second time and the hotel is Just perfect for the price, furnitures in the rooms are old, so if you want luxury this is not the correct one for you.But if you are looking for a comfortable hotel for skiing, this is the second best option. The other one is at least 2 times expensive. Meals are perfect, they serve you just like a a’la carte restaurant.

Location is great.

The facilities were not that good. The room refrigerator was not working. We asked for some ice, at 22.15, and even though room service was until 23.00, they refused to bring us any. We went to pick up some ice from the bar, and they requested us to buy something in order to give us ice. The hairdryer was not working, we asked for a replacement, they brought us another hairdryer, which was also not operating. It is FAAAAR from a FIVE star hotel. I do not know how they achieved such a ranking, but it is not even close to a five-star hotel. Breakfast was nice. Spa area was also nice.

Top location, helpful and smiling staff. Spacious room, great view to the ski path, great quality of sleep. The facilities are not luxurious, but the hotel is very comfortable, clean and convenient.

Perfect cooking, location, great staff, specially the restaurant and the check out girl.

That there was no aviability of big family rooms

Lovely hotel, can ski in/ski out and super close to the gondola. We went half board and the food was brilliant. Highly recommend.

Incredible value for money - Clean, tasty breakfast, very close to the gondola and to the city's attractions. The pool and the rest of the facilities are also great. Highly recommended for a skiing vacation.
