It was very nice, the hotel was quaint. The staff very friendly and accommodating at all times, if you had any questions or concerns about your room they answered and took care of it immediately. It was very clean, the breakfast was delicious everyday.

No Elevator

We enjoyed every aspect of our time at the Riviera Blu. The hotel met or exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection and quality were good and tasty. The people who worked there provided service far superior to any we have ever received. In all our travels all over the world we have never encountered the kind, friendly service they provided. They were caring and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we could have wanted. I can’t say enough good things about our experience at the Riviera Blu.

The hotel is on good location, but just next to the street which is very loud. Staff is very good. Breakfast is good, standard. Bed was ok, comfy. It was clean.

* Even though in the description says that it has air condtion, it is mostly not working. Very warm room waited for us. And generaly they set it up not to work from 9-15h (but for these two days that we were the, they shut it of at 8 in the morning) and it looks like as it is working but it is just probably fan circulating. There is like a thermostat in the room but it doesn't serve for anything except to turn on the fan. It says on the display like it should cool it to 16 degrees, but it wasn't even 26 and outside was more then 30 degrees, so in the room was maybe 28, 29 degrees. We had to listen to that air conditon the whole night because if you open the window or the balcony door it is very loud from the street.I think it must be deleted from the description that they have air condtion. It is just not fair. We paid for it.* Toilet seat was loose from the floor and very unpleasant to use it. Also there is the button that is used to flash the toilet is impossible to use unless you use extra strength. You can break your finger if you push it hard so it can work. Very strange invention.* We had something that it calls towels, but I wouldn't call them so. Very strange towels thin and not nice smell, more like a paper. I thought that it is for one use only, maybe it is, I don't know.

It's a small family-run hotel in the suburbs of Pisa. Staff was very attentive, everything was super clean and organized. Rooms are rather small, but have high ceilings. Breakfast was enough with good variety of fruits. Beaches are across the road, approx. 10 min walk. Pisa is 30 min by bus.

It's not easy to get out to the nearby towns in the evening, because restaurants reopen at 8 pm and last buses leave at 10 pm and 11:30 pm. Not so much time to enjoy your dinner and if you don't get on the bus it will quite a long walk. Tiny frig in the room.

Nice hotel in this area

Hotel is situated just near the main road to Pisa. Very small one. Air condition system is awful

Very convenient, clean and comfortable family owned and operated hotel who take great pride in meeting the needs and requests of their clients. I would recommend to family and friends, and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel was perfect but the resort was shut and we didn't know until we arrived. Taxis are expensive as they come from Pisa so 60 euros to go short distances and bus service although regular is impossible to use app to buy tickets unless you get a pass in Pisa.

Clean and tidy, has a nice feel about it. The people who run are really great, so helpful and friendly it was an absolute pleasure to stay. Would stay again without a second thought.

No coffee / tea making facility in room (1st world problem)

I enjoyed my short stay in this hotel, the staff is very welcoming and makes it feel like you are at home. Superb breakfast and value for money. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Staff was available and helpful at all times. The rooms layout was good and all necessities for a holiday at the beach where available. A bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Tickets can be bought at the small shop in the city center. The nearest free beach we could find was at Bagno degli Americani about 1km from the hotel. The hotel offers a deal where you can get a place at bagno Paradiso starting from 4,50€ per day, 310m from the hotel.

The way by feet to the city center is a bit far by feet. But the offered free bicycle lending compensates partially for this. Not related to directly to the hotel, but nearly all beaches in Tirrenia are private and you have to pay for access.
