Friendly, helpful staff, very clean rooms and good breakfast

Breakfast was ok. The lady at reception was very helpful with ordering a taxi for 4am

Well the accommodation was pretty basic, they could do with changing the type of bed linen they use. The kitchenette was locked but you could pay extra to have it opened. The lack of any bar facility is a problem.

We stayed here for one night. The staff was friendly and check-in was quick, and the instructions for room access were clear. The location is very convenient and within walking distance of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, which was the main reason we chose it. Overall, though, the stay was just okay, fine for a short visit, but nothing particularly memorable.

*UPDATE* Unfortunately, I would no longer recommend this stay. I gave an honest review and was then sent a nasty email right after from the hotel, which I am posting here: "Dear Michelle, we're very disappointed about your review. Unfortunately, you seem not to respect other people's work. By the way, we cannot satisfy someone who complains about finding ants OUTSIDE a room that is beside a garden, or someone who cannot see that our hotel was BUILT FROM SCRATCH only a few years ago. It's easy to judge and be cynical, unfortunately we cannot judge our Guests publicly like they do with us. Best regards, Vele Storiche Pisane."Upon arrival, we found the rooms to feel quite old and not entirely clean. There were ants outside the doors (thankfully not inside the room). Access to the kitchen supplies, including the coffee maker, required paying extra and getting a key. As the building is older, you can clearly hear when others flush toilets or use the shower. The “TV” is more like a small monitor, so if that’s important to you, it may be disappointing. Breakfast was very basic, with only eggs and toast as the hot options. Overall, it was fine for a one-night stay, but we wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer.

Smooth self-check in process. Free parking near Piazza del Duomo was convenient and saved a lot of hassle. Garden was cute.

The place is not in the city center (same as Piazza del Duomo), so be prepared that restaurants nearby closes really early.

Clean and exceptionally friendly hosts

You can hear everyone and everything happening on the corridor. I did not mind, all guests were very considerate.

Room size was good

bed was way too soft and the air conditioner cold not cool the room

It was helpful to be able to do late self check-in.after hours. Instructions were clear. Safe gated parking. Shower a little small. Close to leaning tower of Pisa!

Really easy self check in for late arrival, staff were great and really happy to help. We needed to arrange for a late check out and they were incredibly helpful and allowed us to stay well past the check out time. Big, clean room.

Some cups/glasses in the room would have been great. Breakfast is quite small.

Very good breakfast; the room was good and clean. Parking is available at the back of the hotel. Location is very near the pisa tower; have to pass through train station.

The tv was the smallest I’ve ever seen in a hotel room. From the bed it was like looking at a postage stamp!The bed mattress was way too soft and the bottom sheet too small - it kept coming off.Some noise from nearby rail lines. Breakfast very basic but at least you could toast bread.

Location was great, the staff/hosts were helpful and friendly, beautiful place, great parking.Suite was spacious, lovely little courtyard you could sit in. Our little one loves to be outside and it was lovely to open the doors and let him play with his cars while me and my husband sat and relaxed outside with him.Lovely and clean inside and out- really well kept.Thank you for having us

The bed had a mattress topper on it and the sheet kept coming off throughout the night, little bit frustrating having to get up in the night and put it back on. Breakfast was lovely, would have liked there to be a little more options, felt bad to keep asking for juice or more coffee.( coffee was great )

Very good location. 5 minutes walk from Pisa S. Rossore train station, the nearest to the Leaning Tower. The rooms are big and comfortable.

Breakfast was really poor: No fruit; Instead of 3 types of pies it would be better to have a reasonable quantity of bread and croissants, as those who arrived a bit later had none.
