Great location, good breakfast, nice views, close to the beach. Friendly staff.

The hotel is outdated, some renovation would be great. Parking opportunity closer to the hotel would also be appreciated.

- There's only one thing. Rooms need some renovation. Equipment is old. Everything else top.

I travelled with my family and we really enjoyed our stay. The beach was near the hotel (less than 5 minutes away), and for us there were 2 options for using the beach - free (just get your beach towels and lie near the sea) and paid (you can order sun loungers and an umbrella). The sea was warm and very suitable for swimming for our kid. You can find numerous restaurants and other shops around the hotel. Stuff was friendly. Breakfast was very nice. The room was clean and silent (closed thick windows did not let sounds outside come inside), even though there is a seafront near the hotel. And of course sea view was very nice, you can enjoy the view just sitting on the balcony.

The pool was amazing and the room was a decent size with a balcony. The breakfast was amazing! The staff is so kind and friendly and provides a very very good service.

Just need better lighting in the bathroom, it’s a bit too dim. The staff while cleaning in the morning can be loud chit chatting it will be nice to have quiet mornings as the walls are pretty thin!

The staff is extremely attentive and very kind. 100% baby and pet friendly hotel. Excellent price/value ratio.

However there was no empty spots available at the parking so we were offered another free parking that was 6 minutes away from hotel - almost no place to park close to hotel and streets are narrow and crowded with cars.

Hotel is very close to the beach, view to the sea is beautiful. I appreciate parking place and also swimming pool. Breakfast was fantastic as well as personnel. If I visit Rimini in the future, I will accommodate again in Hotel de France.

Excellent place for a vacation. Located directly on the beachfront, right after the beach itself. Entrance to the beach is free. However if you need a sunbed and an umbrella, it costs 20 euro a day for 2 sunbeds and umbrella, with discounts provided if you book 5 days or more in a row. The sea is quite shallow at the coast, which is great for families with kids. Beach is sandy, with a bunch of seashells entering the sea.Parking provided - if you're lucky, there are a bit of places right at the hotel. Otherwise you're provided with a parking card for a guarded outdoor parking just one block away from hotel. We paid for breakfasts and were happy with this decision: it was quite good, and we found something for ourselves and our child every day for 10 days straight. Staff was very nice and willing to help all the times. Rooms were cleaned every day. Except beach you can find a bunch of different shops and restaurants around, Zodiaco was the one we liked in particular and visited several times.

We didn't care about that, but if it's important for you - rooms weren't renovated for quite a while.

I like how the breakfast is organized, pretty sure it helps to reduce waste and keep people in check how much they eat. I would still prefer to have coffee/tea/milk in free access just like other drinks, instead of waiting for a waitress to bring it every time.

This was our second year in a row in this hotel. It became more expensive although no improvements were made. It becomes really dated. I had issues with some of the equipment in the bathroom. The furniture is worn, some mirrors are faded. Beds are uncomfortable, bedding is pretty poor. The hotel screams for renovation. I will be looking for other options next year.

We had a wonderful week at Hotel de France! First of all, all the staff was amazingly welcoming and made our stay excellent. From reception to breakfast and bar to the cleaning ladies, the staff was all smiles, spoke english and was supportive allover. Grab your afternoon aperol at the bar and enjoy it at the pool if it's a cloudy day.The Location was also perfect, right at the beach and 1minute to Ristorante Lo Zodiaco (go there!). Make sure to book the Beachservice (2chairs, 1umbrella and towel as a present for only EUR13.-!) Breakfast was excellent too, all you would expect. The rooms have roller shutters instead of curtains so it was always quiet and total dark which we loved! We'll be back! Free parking included, either at the Hotel or at a huge parking spot, 5mins walking distance.

Nothing really to complain about, the rooms are typical oldschool italian flair and a bit small, but since you spend all day outside it really doesn't matter. The have bigger rooms as well. Bathroom was refurbished it seemed.

Good and friendly stuff ?, decent breakfast, good location, good room with lovely beautiful view of sea.
