Pros +
- Quirky, entertaining, comfortable, if you can live with the decor ( not for the faint of heart or haters of clashes) this is the best hotel in Rimini. I stayed in the David Hockney room and each room is themed after an artist. They’ve apparently got a ‘museum floor’ full of photos but it was closed off during my stay. On a previous occasion I brought my rescued Presa Canario (40 kg dog) there and Teo mentioned him on this visit. Teo takes care of you in the restaurant and a jolly good job he makes of it. I had to settle for the Mercure on the way home (late arrival due to Superfast Ferries being late and it wasn’t half as entertaining.
- Beautiful hotel with a great location near the sea, the interior is very stylish and we also got visual pleasure and rest for the soul. The staff here is very friendly, you feel at home. The waiter Teo was very attentive and caring, in addition to a great breakfast, we were treated to a choice of cappuccino, hot chocolate and great teas. Nearby there is a busy street with many shops, here you can feel the flavor of Italy. I was also pleased with the daily change of towels and super fast cleaning in the rooms.
- The room was very nice and clean, breakfast was great, and the staff were very helpful. Overall, a wonderful stay – I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Cons -
- Too damned addictive.
- The property was advertised as beachfront, but in reality you have to cross a road to reach the beach, and there is no private beach belonging to the hotel. Access to the beach, as well as umbrellas and sunbeds, all require extra payment. Parking is also charged separately, which was not made clear in advance. The accommodation itself is very expensive for what it offers, and the advertising feels misleading for anyone expecting true beachfront access.
- I was there on a holiday weekend and the area was very busy, I was in a street facing room on the lowest floor of the hotel and the noise levels were high. Part of being close to the beach but worth noting if you want somewhere peaceful!

Good breakfast /Cleaning lady friendly

The staff at the reception were very friendly. The room I had was themed and decorated very nicely. The room was large and included a balcony with a sea view. The location was close to the beach and many restaurants and bars and also two minutes from the metromare bus so very convenient.

Lovely family run hotel just behind the main drag. Loved the breakfast, especially when the crooner was singing.
Very slow lift.
This hotel is as quirky as the photos would suggest, in a good way, in my opinion. They welcomed me and my dog (despite his size). The room we stayed in was dedicated to David Hockney and decorated with his paintings. Personally I loved it. Other parts of the building had Beatles artwork and there was a distinct 60’s to 70’s vibe. Staff were lovely and made a fuss of my dog and me at breakfast bringing us bacon and eggs and all we needed rather than I had to try and serve ourselves. I will definitely come again. Did I mention it’s 100 m from the beach?
I don’t know if I’m missing something Hockney wise but there was a patch of bare concrete between the bed area and the bathroom. Was that deliberate or work in progress?
The room was very spacious, the bathroom was clean and comfortable. The good sized balcony was enjoyable.
The room decor was dated and the furniture looks a bit overused. Breakfast was ok.
It was closed to the bus station and I could walk to everywhere in Rimini
How did this hotel got 4 stars? The bed was terrible, the amenities were symbolic, it felt it was an old hotel which tried to revamp itself as a sort of cheap arty place.
very polite staff , big room
- weak internet , I had to log in many times -I booked 5 nights but was informed in very last moment that the first night I will be staying in different hotel als they are closed -breakfast wasn’t really a Buffett , first day there wasnt any , could choose day before from very limited menu , I ordered ham -cheese omelet and large fruit salat and got scrambled egg with 2 slices of ham and cheese and mini fruit salad , other days as well breakfast was served from staff (very friendly and polite ) but still a bit uncomfortable - breakfast times was from 7:30 not like advertised 7:00 so I missed breakfast twice as I had to leave hotel 7:30 - big room but nothing like on the pictures - no poweroutlet next to the bed
Best location for visiting fieraVery polite people with will to help at any timeBreakfast is excellentAperitivo during the evening is a nice touchWould recomand it again....if price drops a little
Paying so much and having a shower with either too hot water to burn your skin or too cold water to freeze is not ok.Its not a small detail to forget about.Other guests had also the same problem. For travellers a nice shower and a good sleep is important.
The breakfast buffet was good although due to Covid restrictions you could not pick the food directly.
Not so sure about the jungle sounds playing during breakfast in the dining room, could be turned down a bit although I get the whole jungle theme. Staff were courteous and spoke English
The room's decoration was pretty, although overpowered by about forty portraits of celebrities of varying likeability. Good to have a safe, if one not nearly large enough for a laptop.
In thirty degree heat, I booked a hotel described as air conditioned. The air conditioning was not working, and the reception staff behaved (incredibly rudely and dismissively) as though I were unreasonable for noticing. I received no apology, no discount, no electric fans - nothing. The heat and humidity in my room were agonisingly uncomfortable. Goodbye sleep. Also, was orange liquid supposed to ooze out of the tap of the "spa" bath?
Hotel location. Very good bfast. Clean room
No swimming pool
I highly reccomend this hotel, from cosy and artistic atmosphere, to amazing staff in the kitchen, live music in the mornings, rich breakfast, hospitality that goes beyond the expectatons, flexibility, this place is perfect also for single guests who come for tourism.
The hairdryer should be more modern and replaced, Internet is working ok but it could be a lil bit faster.
Big walls : so no noise from the other rooms.
The prize :-), the service in the resto , they pute the plate immediatly away when you put the cutlery down :-(!
everything was good! room service, breakfast and all attitude to guests. design is above all.

It was such an interesting and lovely place to stay. And the location is very well positioned. P.S. If you want coffee with lactose-free milk, ask directly at the bar.
