Hotel Roma

Accommodations and services were very nice. We could walk to all of the attractions we wanted to see and the staff was very friendly. The room was pretty much just your average hotel room.

The neighborhood was just OK.

Convenient location! Was very clean and kind staff .

The stuff did excellent job to make us feel comfortable! Olga was so friendly and tried to help us in everything we need!Breakfast was wonderful. Coffee - perfectly made! We are so lucky that we chose this Hotel!

Very close to the train and main bus stations, and walking distance to most main areas in the city. Friendly and helpful a staff. Good breakfast. bed was comfortable.

The floor I was on had signs that work was in progress - perhaps renovations were underway? My room had missing baseboards, broken drawers inside the wardrobe and black mould in the shower.

Staff, location, breakfast was very good. Had coffee, milk, yogurt, ham, cheese, fruits, bread, jam…..

Room & bathroom lack of space for personal stuff.

The location was great. Walking distance from most of the attractions.

We hotel had no parking. The booking.com advert said there was hotel parking available. Luckily, there was a parking area close to the hotel.

The staff were really helpful, friendly, couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast on offer in the morning was great too, plenty of choice.

The room was very warm and the air conditioning didn't work, there is a notice in the elevator that if the window is open it means that the air con/heating doesn't work so I think this is just an issue that guests have to cope with. The bathroom could have used a refresh too, the shower head hardly worked and the extractor fan was full of dust and debris.

yogurt and fresh fruit were just perfect, as well as the coffee.

Because of so many complaints from others I was weary to confirm my stay at Hotel Roma, but had a very nice two night stay in a double/twin room.I booked an attic room, but I think this was a better room on 2nd floor. No view but very clean and enough space for all your small travel items on a room devider shelf. Although the shower was small bathroom was clean and modern enough.Good central location for walking to sights.Lift worked fine Friendly welcoming staff, I must specially mention Allesandro and also Anna thanks you two! Even found us a taxi to port Corsini when there where very little transport options (including taxis) available. An excellent plentiful breakfast with variety was another good surprise after lots of customer complaints on reviews. If you want very modern and new in an ancient city,with English breakfast, try elswhere. I have stayed in the best worldwide and was very satisfied with the value for money ratio here.

What we really missed was availability of a cup of coffee when we arrived after 8pm due to train delays from Venice. No in room, or even reception area available, no coffee shop so had to go without, but survived.

Breakfast was great - good coffee.

The hotel needs a major renovation. Our room had dirty walls and a badly broken door lock handle in the architrave. We needed instructions on how to open it and did not feel safe in our room as it had clearly been kicked in with the door lock damaged and only partially fixed.

Staff was pleasant.

Hallways were dark, dirty and full of soiled mattresses.

wanted a taxi called and got a boyfriend. Cash deal which was a little expensive 60€.

Good position in the vicinity of the rail way station and the city center. There is good breakfest. The personell is very friendly and responsible for any requests. Just near the hotel there a few bars and restorans. Price is also rather good.

Unfortunately, the shower cabin is too small, at least for somebody. It seems that it is only not so good there.

The hotel is like 15 minutes from central town and 5 minutes from the station. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is continental with great coffees and a sufficient choice. Fresh fruit is available as well.Practically cannot be beaten by price, when you have breakfast included. I stayed for six nights and just ignored some of the things I did not like (room size, small but we'll working shower and some big marks on the wall.)

The hotel is in transition and rooms seem to get upgraded. I for example had a new mattress and the bed was great, while other amenities were a bit behind.
