Hotel Castello

This is a wonderful hotel - out in the country, so it is very relaxing. They loaned us bicycles that we used to get to a nearby restaurant. The hotel staff (hotel employee in particular) were great - very helpful. The breakfast is very nice, too.

The location is a good bit out of town, so if you don't have a car, you rely on cabs, which gets expensive. A hotel shuttle would be a nice addition.

Excellent location and friendly staff

Hotel Castello is a lovely location very convenient for travelling through the region. Parking is excellent - I was on a motorcycle and had a whole parking bay near reception - seemed very safe. The room was spacious and very clean. Staff were helpful. My morning espresso before setting off was eccelente!

If you want to see Modena centre then it's a bit of a drive (10-15m) . I valued ease of access for arrival / departure over being in the city hence my choice.

Nothing really but the lack of any dinner options near by or at the hotel was the only slightly neg. That said we knew this before booking

The Hotel exceeded our expectations. Set in lovely grounds, our room was very clean and comfortable. The old building where breakfast is served is beautiful.Reception staff very friendly and recommended a local restaurant for dinner which was lovely. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation.

Small family-run hotel that is perfect for visitors that want to visit, or are passing through, Modena for the night

No remarks. It is not a hotel for people that do not have their own car.

Nice hotel, nice garden, very cheap.

Breakfast could be better however as the price was very cheap we don't complain.And it is a bit outside the city

Quiet location close to centre of Modena. On site parking. Pets welcome. Great staff. Good breakfast. Lots of space in room.

Gorgeous, well renovated, authentic hotel! We have booked a room for 3 people, but came as a family of 4. In advance I have asked the hotel staff if it was Ok for them our youngest kid could sleep with us in our double bed? They were positive and let us stay at the hotel. When we arrived, we were quite surprised that the hotel put in extra guest bed for our youngest child, without any charge! Thank you very much for that!

Outside of town, so you will need a taxi (to get to the hotel), unless you are coming by car.

It is a little hard to find, my car GPS was not able to find it but my phone search had no problem. We have used the Hotel previously and it is exceptional for its quality, price and friendly staff.

The Hotel has no evening restaurant but there are plenty close to town.

The breakfast was simply outstanding! Amazing fresh fruit and great quality fresh bakery.

No SMART TV in my room or maybe was not working,

I appreciated their attitude to hospitatlity. They had sandwiches and packaged snacks/drinks for guests to take away for their travels. The grounds were clean and well kept and we truly felt looked after. Beds were comfortable, clean, all amenities were of good standard
