For my necessity was a very good choose, it is an old tipe of hotel, but very clean and quiet, staff very friendly and helpful. I love it!

Excellent value for a clean single room with an italian breakfast. There was a sink and bidet in the room and I shared external bathroom with one person. Staff ( Italian ladies) is nice, helpful and personable. There are Several transportation options ( pay for the ticket at the machine inside the bus) to get to the hotel from the train station in 30 min. Wi-Fi worked great. There is an elevator.

Couldn’t keep the window open in the evening and at night because of some mosquitoes. The walls are very thin and one can hear loud Italian phone conversations. Luckily, my adequate neighbor stopped all the noise after I asked him to be quieter. My room faced the back of the building and a pretty loud ventilation unit at a big neighboring facility tuned on a loud humming around 11 pm.

Room was large, clean and bright. Nice large shower. Very quiet area with a couple of restaurants within walking distance.

We asked for no cleaners to enter the room as we were only there for 2 nights. That was not respected as it was clear someone had been in our room. A/C unit was very noisy and made it a little difficult to sleep but at least it worked!

An excellent student dormitory for a short period of time location is directly across from the university. It was clean, quiet and offered breakfast.

It isn’t a big size hotel, calm clean, for people who like tranquility. 10-20 minutes walking distance from shops and historic modena center.

Breakfast should be revised and ameliorated with adding more choices.

My single room is very clean. The bathroom is shared but it was not a big deal for me. It was a retro charm. I appreciate the complimentary breakfast with consist of pastry and cereal. Walkable distance to the Flixbus station which you need to catch the bus early in the morning.

The staff were amazing at all times. Wonderful staff. The accommodations were tricky to access, parking was not included as expected and the room was very basic. But this was a nice enough place for inside the city walls.

Disappointing

It was 40 min walk to the old town. The room was very old fashioned and not comfortable at all.

The location and the breakfast were very good; the room was spacious and clean.

The walls were a bit too thinn and we could hear everything on the hallway and the alarm clocks from the others.

The room had a very good air conditioner, worked well and was not noisy, which was a relief considering it was 38°C outside.The room didn't have a private bathroom but one to share with one other room, but that was no problem.

The room was basic but OK. The only extremely unpleasant thing was that, even though smoking is prohibited, the bad smell of entering a smoking room was the first impression I got every time I entered the room. I tried spraying perfume to neutralize the odour but to no avail. Clearly this room has been used by a heavy smoker in the past and it was impossible to get the odour out...

They ask you if you want 2 single beds or a double one. I asked for a double one and I got 2single ones covered by a double sheet. the bed itself it's uncomfortable and it makes noise when you move. The furniture is old fashioned

The room was big enough, the staff were very friendly and polite. The room was overall very clean and tidy, there were plenty of parking spaces.

THE ATTENTION IS SPECTACULAR. Ms. Fede and Mr. David are the best hosts ever. Room is wide open and comfortable. The shower is magnificent.

No elevator... and breakfast could improve...

Close to main cities that interested us

No elevator, our room was on the 3rd floor and getting the luggage there was really hard

Great location for Modena, walk to centre. Free parking and breakfast.
