- Staff amazing - did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable, frequently without being asked. An unsophisticated gem in an unsophisticated village. The food was the best by far from anywhere else near by; simple but perfect. Breakfast amazing - a fantastic buffet every morning, constantly replenished. Pool surprisingly large for a small hotel and kept to an immaculate standard. The chickens and tortoises wandering about the gardens were delightful. Setting also very picturesque with the Palm trees planted around, and lovely, sympathetic lighting in the evening. The hotel was quiet (end of season) with only about 5 rooms occupied most of the time; so we were spoilt, but plentiful chairs around the pool, hammocks hanging from the trees. Need to be aware that it is a short, very steep hill down to the village; but well lit - short cut is down the stairs through the Dolphin Hotel. The whole experience was of the utmost relaxation!
