The peace and privacy! It's beautiful setting. Friendly and efficient staff. Great food for a small resort!

Just our pool pump of beach front villa run all day and night causing a slight noise distraction.

Stunning resort, pool villa was beautiful, staff were all so lovely and helpful.

Bed wasn’t very comfortable and hard to sleep with animals on the roof most of the night, location is very isolated, which is also a good thing if you wanted a forced restful resort stay.

Everything! From the staff to the room, everything was superb. Beautiful beach, and the private pool room was romantic and clean. Tons of great activities offered (many for free). Staff was kind and helpful, even when we did not book their services.

Tough to get to. Ask the staff for help!

Pricey food , rocky beach

Beautiful views and landscaping. We were very comfortable in our villa and loved the outdoor shower. Breakfasts were delicious with lots to choose from. We also liked the nightly happy hour, watching the sunset with a cocktail.

There isn't much to do on Koh Yao Yai. It's very rural, and there is little reason to leave the resort and go elsewhere. We rented a boat to go island hopping, which was great. We also rented mopeds to explore the island, which was kind of cool---lots of beautiful beaches. However, there is zero nightlife and barely any other restaurants around. This is a resort and an island to head to if you really want to chill out and relax. We spent a lot of time reading, relaxing, and swimming, and ate at the one restaurant every night for 4 nights.

The room was pretty, clean, and had a good bed. The pool and beach area were amazing — all right on the beachfront! I loved it so much. The island is quiet, with nice local life. Everyone was so friendly. Loved it!

Location is beautiful and quiet, nice beach right in from of the resort, food at restaurants was good, outside shower is nice too.

Room a bit small, AC noisy and blowing directly on the bed, gekos and huntsman spiders in the room, bed too small and too hard.

The property is in a beautiful location and amenities are good.

We were in a room with a pool but the toilet flush was not not working and the hand faucet broke. We called folks to fix the plumbing but the issue did not resolve. It was also very hard to communicate with them

The reception staff was very kind. The location is pritty isolated, with not a lot of things to do around, but we liked it. Good breakfast and very welcoming waiters and kitchen workers. We recommend taking the thai cooking class.Two small problems we had:1. The baby cot isn't suitable for a 6 month old baby, but for a much older toddler. We managed to improvise a bed with the sofa. 2. The bath was so large that it took more than an hour to fill it up, and we didn't want to waste so much water, so we used it only once during our stay.

Everything! What a beautiful, chilled out place to stay. Lovely bungalows, amazing private beach cleaned daily. The food was consistently excellent. Lovely landscaping and great array of wildlife to see. Staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. A pleasure, will definitely return.

Nothing. But take sea shoes as the shore has lots of coral and shells.

The place is amazing, the effort the staff put in to keep the place clean, tidy and so well-manicured is fantastic, The superior villa we stayed in was beautiful as well. The staff were friendly and always helpful whatever you needed.

The breakfast was really good, but the food from the restaurant was the only thing that could have been a little bit better; a bit more attention to the cooking would have been appreciated. Since there aren’t many places to visit near the complex, you’re more or less obliged to eat there. Also they were a bit cheeky with their "Happy Hour cocktails" get one drink for 290 baht the other is free. I felt it was a little expensive personally compared to other places we visited..

Being in this paradise, tranquil, in the middle of the nature, was an experience to remember! Our pool villa offered us anything we could wish for. The staff was great, and food excellent. Cooking class with Gai was fun and We also learned a lot! We will definitely return!

We loved everything, but if you are looking for party, going out, or shopping, maybe the location is not optimal.

Nice houses, beach (many of glass but no problem), nice personel, quiet.

Nothing, we loved everything!

The location is stunning, with a private beach… very relaxing. Very kind, smiling staff, good food with a nice variety of dishes.

We found the quality of the facilities extremely overpriced. One would expect much better design and quality for a room of 320€/night!! Everything is really shabby, outdated and worn out - the main reception with dirty windows , the pool with sharp tiles that come off and bar stools on which you risk to cut your skin open. Dirty sun beds with cracked old mats. Gym should be totally redone as you can hurt yourself in there when playing ping pong (carpet tiles not attached and slippery). Totalmess in rooms next to the kitchen and outside restaurant… very disappointing how much they dare to charge. Clearly there is no reinvestment into the property. Shame…
