Beautifull views from deck, short walk for all neccesities

The location was perfect. It was right across the road from the train station. It was a super cute village and very easy to get to Zermatt on the train. We had 3 rooms and all had balcony’s overlooking the street. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

There is a note/message the rooms stating how clean and wonderful their tap water is but when you ask for it in the restaurant they charge you. Very odd. One of our rooms smelled like cigarettes. In all fairness we did not let them know but needless to say, it did smell.

This hotel is well located near Tasch main train center to Zermatt. I loved its interior design and facilities. The staff were helpful and polite. Parking underground is wide and protected

Everything, the location, the restaurant and specially the staff–they were great! The hotel is right across the station that takes you to Zermatt, super convenient! And they have delicious daily breakfast. If you are considering for your next visit to Zermatt definitely do it!

The location is very close to the train station. The food is also good. Thanks for the lady at the reception who nicely and patiently helped us pay the parking fee when we found that our tickets were not working.

We were upgraded to stay in a newer hotel, Porta Cervino. I was really great, and I liked the room so much. The bed was perfect and the staff was also great.

At 7.30 am the road reconstruction started. I think that it was not the problem of the hotel but it was annoying.

Single room is extremely small, couldn’t store my luggage more than 1 and there is no refrigerator unfortunately for storing food. Night time is not quite at all, from my room I hear a lot of noise cars passing by the street, bar beside the hotel is noisy sometimes and not comfortable at all to sleep early.

Perfect location for travel to Zermatt,good breakfast,clean room,big parking lot.

The view was very nice. The room was clean, well organized & very comfortable in every way.

They offer free spa. And there’s almonds and nuts at the spa. Room is clean

We tried Macroni with French fries with welcome complimentary drinks. 3) Room and bathroom had new feel in bed, linen, sheets, furniture, bathroom n everything. 4) Proximity to the railway station where we had to catch train to Zermatt next morning.

1) Reception tried to move us to a different hotel while we booked this one. They seemed to be following instructions to move all checkins to the Hotel Porta Cervino, however when we protested, then they honoured their booking commitment. However, this did not dilute their otherwise great attention in the Restaurant where we had dinner and breakfast in next morning.

It is nice for breakfast adn the room but space is too small for that price. I expect more space in room and shower, toilet.

Newly renovated. Very clean. Best location just opposite the Tasch Train station. Very convenient to Zermatt and to other cities

We were in Room 501 on the top floor (only unit). The ceilings were sloped and every time we moved we ran into the ceiling. This room is unacceptable but we were so tired when we checked in we didn’t want to deal with it!

The location was perfect! Right near the train station! The water heater in the room for coffee!

The restaurant was pricey!

Great room in Tasch just a short walk from the train station so it is easy to get to Zermatt. They offer a shuttle to and from Zermatt that is cheaper than taking the train.

Nothing that I didn't really like. I would say that the taxi service to Zermatt that the hotel recommended didn't really live up to expectations. The front desk person said that we could call and receive service anytime, which we thought was great. We bought a 28 CHF round-trip our first night, leaving the hotel around 6:30 pm, but when we called at 12:00 on Sunday night to return to Taish, they quoted us 40 CHF, saying it was outside of "normal hours" and when we asked what "normal hours" were, they said 10:00 pm. While it's understandable that they might charge more after a certain hour, there was no mention of any of this on their literature or by the driver who initially dropped us off in Zermatt at 7:00 pm. The 40 CHF and 10:00 pm cut-off seemed arbitrary and taking advantage of the situation, and not very professional. We ended up getting a free bus shuttle at the train station at 12:30 am in-lieu of the train shuttle that was supposed to run at that hour. If that hadn't been available, I don't know what we would have done.
