    Pros +

    • Lovely big beach resort with plenty to do. The outside swimming pool was heated and so warm so we were able to enjoy that every day even in January. Entertainment available during the day (aqua gym, sports, yoga etc) and a kids club. Very clean everywhere, staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of different areas inside and out to relax. I used the spa which was nice.
    • Great atmosphere , excellent food , outstanding staff
    • Stunning hotel. Beautiful location. Great for children. Lots of entertainment. Room very clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

    Cons -

    • No refreshments in room at all. Not even one complimentary bottle of water. You had to pay to use the bedroom safe which I've never seen before! No tea available at all unless you bought it at the bar or cafe. I feel like tea options should always be available as standard. Not everyone drinks coffee! I went half board so had dinner, but there were no drinks available at dinner except water. You had to buy drinks at the bar. These things usually all come as standard in most European hotels. Breakfast and dinner were very busy and slightly chaotic at times as they were all buffet style, so people everywhere, long queues and staff couldn't always keep up with replacing food or bowls which often ran out quite quickly. These are all quite minor things, but I feel that the hotel is geared up for you to go all inclusive or upgrade to Privilege membership (you got refreshments in the room then!)
    • Animation team is very weak, program is not interesting , even animation team language skills combined with microphone makes is a acceptable
    • I didn't get to go to any organised day trip that I wanted, either no response from the partner or the partner cancelled the day tour. The hotel staff's effort to actually help tourists to see more is low.

Superb dinner every time, clean room, and the best location I could choose!

Only good thing about this hotel is location, the beach is wonderful , and the view from the hotel is beautiful.

Disappointing Experience – Would Not Return Even for FreeTo be honest, our stay at this hotel was a major letdown, and I would not recommend it to anyone expecting a relaxing vacation. It all started with the hotel staff, who insisted that we pay extra for our 2-year-old child and change rooms. When we finally got our new room, we specifically asked for a double bed, but no one followed through with the request. We were left with two twin beds, which were extremely uncomfortable and made it impossible to sleep well.Another huge inconvenience was the lack of an iron in the hotel – something you’d expect to be a basic amenity. As for the food, it was by far the worst hotel food we’ve ever had. Extremely low quality, greasy, repetitive every single day, and completely tasteless. There was no attention to dietary needs – the food labels had no allergen information, and with my wife being vegan, it was nearly impossible for her to have dinner at the hotel. No one spoke English well enough to explain anything, which made things even more frustrating. These situations truly ruined our vacation, and I wouldn’t come back to this place even if it were free. A very disappointing experience overall.

Free water, heated pool, very clean, friendly and efficient staff,15 mins walk to public bus, buffet meals

Wifi needed some encouragement to work.,

    9DavidPosted on: 3-5-2025

Everything was perfect apart from the above

Dress code for dinner was stated on all sites as no sports wear no shorts & no flip flops. An i even emailed the hotel before my stay & they confirmed this However this was not policed by staff & even after complaining it didn’t change Very poor standards & staff in this regard

Facilities, great location, kind and helpful personnel.

I didn’t like the food, neither the one served for breakfast nor the one serve for dinner. The quality needs to be improved.

    9DaryaPosted on: 2-14-2025

The view from the balcony was amazing. The restaurant has a variety of food, a comfortable bed.

The parking lot next to the hotel is in poor condition

Came at a good time, early Feb, hotel wasn’t so busy, the hotel was clean and tidy, staff where very welcoming and always on hand and the views from the hotel are wicked

There was one incident where one of the guys that are in charge of the outdoor pool beds didn’t like where the beds where put and tried to get us to move quite abruptly- also the room cards are terrible, had to replace mine 3 times

What WASN'T good about this stay?! From check-in to check-out, the amazing staff made me feel like family. Constantly making me feel welcome and contributing to a much needed restful and rejuvenating stay. I even extended my trip for four days as I couldn't bear to leave I was having such an amazing time! The hotel was one of the BEST I've ever stayed at and was such good value for money. Also, don't be put off by the word 'buffet' the food was REALLY good. The pools were great and I swum almost every day and it was so wonderful to have access to a private beach. I can't wait to go back!

    Everything was great!

Hotel Tindaya is overall a nice hotel with plenty of sun chairs around the pools, room recently refurbished, spacious common areas. It’s located directly on the beach and positioned in one of the best part of the island ( my personal view ) as not so “squeezed” between other huge buildings

Food is just a kind of ok , nothing more. Plenty of variety to offset basic quality. To top it all I’d have preferred several segregated dining areas to keep control of decibel while you enjoy your food….the dining room was noisy

    7Marta V.Posted on: 12-1-2024

The restaurant, the pools, the beach

At the check in they said they had to charge me 50 euro on top of the price of the room as it was a deposit bfor drinks (?) they said they will refund it after the checkout and I will get the money back in several hours. But I still don't see it on my bank account being refunded although it has been about 24 hours. The room and the wardrobe had a very strong dump smell. There were some kind of construction works going on in several areas of the hotel and the noise was very loud.

We loved our stay, Tindaya was a good choice. :) It’s close to the ocean, room is comfy and the meals were various. Perfect place to relax and recharge.

pools and location, staff and amenities were great

the food was a bit repetitive and not of great nurtinional value. A lot of sugars and only refined bread and sugary cereals. Also the "coffee" was just our of big nescafe machines.

Beautifull place with lots of possibilities to relax and to have fun! Pleasent, comfortable and clean room. The restaurant is brilliant. They offer great vareity of foods. The beach is within 5 minutes on foot. Costa Calma beach is one of the best in the island. The staff is very kind and helpfull.

We could hardly find our room... There wasnt any map or sign where to go... The levels of the hotel are 'tricky' because where you enter from the street is the 4th floor.

Everything , the location is perfect close to the sea but also to book a day trips. Our room had beautiful view of the sea. The property is family friendly and there is plenty to do for small children. Our daughter was too small to engage with the activities in children club but still we enjoyed the time with her in the swimming pool at the beach or playground. All of the staff are super friendly and very hard working. The drinks are of good quality my brother in law enjoyed his Jameson and coke.

In general the food was lovely and plenty of choice for adults but not so much for the youngest one especially if you travel with the small baby that need to eat more soft or pure foods. The yoghurts were too sweat and not really tasty . However my daughter got lovely birthday cake
