    Pros +

    • Nice hotel at the edge of town. Nice beach, good food and friendly staff.
    • The receptionist Francisco was so kind and fabulous! He gave me a very warm welcome! He gave me a great room just as i requested! The lobby was quite warm, and i loved the atmosphere and libraries around that helped me discover spannish culture. The bed was really good.
    • Fabulous food , lovely staff, short stroll to the beach, excellent value

    Cons -

    • The dinner? was a completely mess, not tasty at all.. and even for simple water the waiter said i have to pay...Morning was better, but what about the vegetarians? Where are the salads? The toilet in the reception floor were out of service exepted 1.From the balcony, when sitting, i didn’t have a sea view because of the barrier in front that was blocking it
    • Not a minus per se, because it was to be expected, but the noisy after dinner karaoke was a sour listen. Dinner was lovely, but one night there was a pretty long queue, which tested my patience.
    • Maintenance work meant we couldn't sit by the pool as there was drilling & tile cutting all day. This spoiled our short holiday. We used the beach but had to pay for sunbeds & umbrellaNo offer of compensation from hotel, staff not helpful

The size of the room was excellent, the view from the balcony was beautiful. Quality of sleep was good.

The works near the pool were noisy and we didn’t know about them at time of booking. The food choice at the buffet we found it to be very limited overall and quality was also limited.

Costa Calma is one of the best (if not the best) locations to explore the island. On top of it, the hotel has the best location within the island - right in front of the beach and at the edge of Costa Calma (so you do not feel squished between hotels). The rest excellent as well. Several beaches around to choose from.

Hotel room spacious, comfortable and kept very clean. Good value for all inclusive.

Costa Calma had nothing going for it. Hotel charged to use room safe. They charged if you wanted clean pool towels. Coffee shop opened 1pm but coffee machine needed further 20 mins to warm up. Room 2324 was under restaurant and therefore very noisy at meal times inc 7.30am for breakfast. Main indoor bar too small for number of guests - never seats in bar after dinner.

Restaurant and hotel staff in general very friendly and helpful. The property has a good amount of facilities, but everything needs renovation. Buffet food is quite good, very Northern European menu though. Drinks are nice, using A brands.

Technically everything is old and needs maintenance. From dodgy plastic takeaway cups (plastic falls into your drink), to the equipment in the small gym that is kept together with tie wraps. This is a 4 star resort on paper, buth in reality this hotel does not meet modern standards. Sockets are not working in the rooms, WiFi only in general areas, the spa is non existent (Sauna for 6 people, jacuzzi for 1 person), the gym is unacceptable. For the price you pay there are better options, I’d highly recommend choosing another hotel if you have any standards.

Although it’s a big hotel it didn’t seem too crowded. The beach is very nice and the sea warm. The restaurant is busy but the food was good and staff very friendly.

The only thing we didn’t like was the poolside bar/cafe, the food was terrible.

Hotel is close to the beach

Horrible tourist hotel with too many people. Buffet terribly bad quality. Most people are there based on (cheap) package deals

Food was plentiful. Quality quite good.Cleaning team were brilliant. Pool looked lovely but too cold unless you were very brave!Reception very good.Valentine's Night food and presentation was excellent.

Long way to the crazy golf, then you had to go back to reception for the clubs and balls. The entertainment wasn't advertised very well but from what we heard from our close-by room it WAS very good most nights.

    Excellent location

Quality of evening Buffet very poor. Most dishes were overcooked, & greasy. As a vegetarian, the vegetables were always overcooked & greasy.

Excellent hotel. Great location. Reception staff were lovely and received an upgrade which was unexpected!Room was clean, comfy beds and buffet food was great, especially the grill section.Yoga on the beach was amazing ?

During our stay they were relaying the pool tiles using a drill to take off the old ones so couldn't use the pool area for a couple of days due to the noise

The staff, food and facilities were very good, Giovanny was excellent, he was all over the food and beverage facilities and the waiting/serving staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the entertainment each evening. The location was a little remote but an easy walk into the town of Costa Calma.

The pools were too cold for us. I would have appreciated tissues in the room and two sun beds would have been nice on the large sunny balcony. The bathroom had an unpleasant smell, we did report it and it was ok after housekeeping had been but smell of drains returned each day.

The hotel is cozy, with very nice and helpful staff. Great dinner and breakfast!

the staff in the hotel should get a medal, they were so friendly and helpful all the time, close to the ocean and beach, good drinks

alltime for breakfast was the same, from 6pm. you can sit just in the lobby bar to order something to drink. There were a lot of people, no place to sit inside in the afternoon time (after the 7pm), for everybody there were 2 waiters, they run, run and run and couldn't take the order on time. Eg. if you didn't go yourself to the bar, you could wait even 30 minutes for drink (if you have JUST ONE bar open, there should be minimum 4 waiters for these count of people). The bar next to the pool should be open longer. The swimming pool was so cold and there could be waiters on swimming pool, we had to go every time to the bar for drink and even anyone clean the tables around the swimming pool

The room was big and clean, I loved we had 3 pillows. The pool area is lovely and the hotel has direct access to the beach. The buffet is great, we had breakfast and dinners and there was plenty of choice! You can refill the water for free

Our room was close to the elevator that is very noisy! I should have asked to change room as at 6am in the morning was very annoying! The reception is too small and be prepared t queue even to ask a simple information. The cocktail selection was a bit limited

Great facilities and super friendly staff - loved the little treat from the ladies at the Despacio spa when I booked a massage on my bday day. Also loved the treat from the hotel again on my bday day. Great service from the beginning with the lady at the reception being very welcoming and friendly when we checked in. Thank you all.

My constructive feedback - the gym space only opening from 8:30am (from 7am would be great). Also some music playing at the gym space would be great too (doesn't have to be too loud just something playing in the background to break the silence).Music at the swimming pool - again it doesn't have to be too loud but it would help improving overall atmosphere. Still recommend the hotel these are just minor points.
