    Cons -

    • Ask as a special occasion for two bottles of champagne never arrived, promised but never got, one on day we arrived and one two days later nothing, meant to be adult only , had kids at night playing knock and run, no entertainment except Sunday and Thursday, no designated check in , was so disappointed as stayed last year and was amazing, had booked again in another 5 weeks, but have cancelled as sooo disappointed , high price paid for below par service
    • Dated roomsRoyal Level wasn’t the quality experience expected The resort is on a steep hill
    • The nighttime entertainment was a bit disappointing, with the disco nights falling short. However, the outstanding Flamenco show was a highlight that we truly enjoyed.

Great food great staff and very good facilities. The AI section worked well so you have a massive hotel with a small adult only section.Really good hotel

Staff are the hotels best asset, from cleaners to waiting staff all exceptional, a special mention for Mark the bartender a true star.

Aircon wasn't working and did report it several times but was never fixed but weather wasn't that hot so could cope.

For Royal Level - Spacious, clean, fabulous setting, lovely pool area

The wi fi wasn’t great and there was a lack of information about eg local transport, hotel activities, restaurant menu etc. The app had very limited information and while staff were helpful there was usually a queue at reception. We booked bed and breakfast only, but it’s really designed for all inclusive so that caused a bit of confusion.

Service and food in Patio Canario restaurant was excellent and they made a big effort to cater to our needs as vegetarians. Service in Cafe Atlantico really friendly. Beds and pillows really comfortable. Sunbeds also really comfortable in Royal Level. Beach is stunning although quite a walk through the hotel to get there.

On our first day the room had an issue with the aircon unit not working and causing a foul smell. After some back and forth the hotel moved us to a different room but the air conditioning didn’t work at all. We had to wait for hours to finally get a room that had functioning aircon and this was frustrating after a long day of travel and we felt we were made to feel as if we were being unreasonable. The room we were eventually given was great though and it wouldn’t stop us staying there again.Reception not always manned in Royal Level.

Staff and inclusive options were great. If you like half-board/all inclusive you will like. We felt a little bit too young for the crowd at the hotel. :D

Value for money Beach distance close but still far - 15min walk to the water.

In royal level you are treated as it sounds We booked the upgraded deluxe suite too which was ace

Not much … sometimes service was a little slow And other guests would use things from our private terrace

Our stay was super nice and relaxing. The location of the hotel is excellent and offers a breathtaking view over the sea. The first-class service and friendly staff deserve special mention. All the staff are incredibly helpful and courteous. Special praise is due to Selene from the restaurant with her warm and friendly manner. :)

The bathroom could get a little makeover. But nothing too bad.

Genuinely cannot find anything good to say about this property - outdated / spartan / understaffed

Breakfast was chaos Nowhere near enough staff Coffee machines ( 3 out of 4 not working )When a cockroach emerged from the coffee machine we were trying to operate we left

Layout privacy, adults only and balcony very nice

Location very far from the shops, WiFi was terrible and furniture very old and dated.

Exceptional customer service, fantastic pool and spa. Thank you to Marianna from guest relations, Nick and Iza from the spa and Nikola for the best cocktails at the Atlantico bar. We've had the best soups at the Royal restaurant.

Confusing room and housekeeping service. Coffee and milk were sometimes replenished more often not, bathroom amenities the same and the toilet wasn't cleaned for days. Considering the level of the room, the cleanliness is far from okay. Please have a look under the mini bars and behind the sofa cushions.

I loved how big the property was with many options of good quality food. We also thought all of the staff were very friendly and amazing. Also enjoyed the beach views and immediate access to the beach!

The bed sucked! Looked like a king but was actually 2 twins pushed together and that creates a gap between the beds which made it very uncomfortable. Also the fitness center was very outdated and most of the machines did not function properly.

We enjoyed a lot. The hotel facilities restaurants staff value for money poolViews. Great hotel. Only minus very tough uncomfortable beds

The beds. Too tough. We slept bad

Not much. "Royal level" was totally meaningless. The room was pleasant and clean with a balcony upon which we could sunbathe in privacy, but that was as good as it got. Some of the staff were downright rude and mendacious, the greeting staff in particular to this section of the hotel are worthy of a mention for that. Many of the other staff were poorly managed and didn't really know what they were doing much of the time. In the attached general "Non-royal" hotel, the staff were better. There was no coordination between the staff. There was no proper Wi-Fi, a signal only available very early in the morning or very late at night when everyone else was in bed. The food in the buffet restaurant in the "adults only" section in the evening was appalling and trying to obtain a bottle of wine was difficult as one of the staff didn't know what a wine list was, in several languages. Breakfast was better, but not worthy of a "Royal level" label. Fortunately the reception staff in the "commoners" section were good as were the staff in the bar. That's as good as it gets. Don't be fooled by two pools, one is only 2 1/2 feet deep! I would recommend the à la carte restaurant only in as much as two of the staff knew what they were doing and the food was edible. We ate out most of the time after the first two nights. Very very disappointing.

This was the worst half-board hotel I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world, and made worse by the price they are charging. At half the price I would have been unhappy. Not to have Wi-Fi and to ask people to book the à la carte restaurant online is just a bad joke. It seemed to me like the place was operating on a pared back budget with no money to train the staff or to repair several tatty bits. I will never stay at this chain again. The location is poor, the town being a short taxi ride away. Great to improve your fitness by walking, but sometimes not. Access to the beach takes around 15 minutes by the time one has navigated through the hotel, using several lifts, crossing the road and finding the access point. The beach itself is not great with little shelter from the wind.

    Not a lot

Old and tired hotel with poor restaurant and really limited options for vegetarians, no catering for vegans

    9JakubPosted on: 1-27-2024

Beautiful location and view, really lovely personel. People at desks, at restaurants, as well as maintenance stuff, pretty much everyone there was very proffessional, helpful and nice. It felt really honest and natural. Very decent food, drinks were made with care and from proper ingredients. Quite few activities of different kind available for guests at the place. Private indoor parking available within the price. And for my little fetish - the water pressure was super strong it filled the bathtub with very hot water within 2-3 minutes, loved that one.

Few details should be definitly sorted out. The wifi did not worked on google chromecast and i’m not the biggest fan of watching foreign tv. It worked only on some devices and required special login in every 15 minutes on the hotel website. The room felt a bit outdated witch is not really an issue for me as long as everything feels solid and properly working. Piece of door frame fell of, and the flush took 10 minutes of loud and weird noises to refill. The chair on the balcony smelled bad, small thing but I took a sit there to relax. Also blankets for the evenings would be a nice touch, and at least one really subtle source of light in the room.
