Hotel Taimar

Brilliant! Thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay. The whole place is kept spotless, good WIFI, very modernised throughout. The food is delicious, plenty of variety for all 3 daily meals. Staff cant do enough for you and are very smiley, good selection of drinks, which staff never let go empty! Since all the facilities were great we spent a lot of our holiday at the hotel, the pool bar is open from 10am and you can take drinks back to your rooms in the plastic cups and enjoy the sun on your private balcony/terrace, or if you fancy being more social you can relax on the sun loungers around the pool (which is kept immaculate, and is at a great temperature to cool off).

I cant say a bad thing about this hotel, our entire stay was fabulous. The only shortfall is the distance from the beach, which is only about a 10-15 minute walk or under 5 minutes on the plenty of BIRD electric scooters that are available to pay for right outside of the hotel on the BIRD app.

The pool was not working while we were there and the dinning area gets a bit cold as it is open to the elements.

Wonderful staff and the meals were to a high standard. Room very comfortable and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay.

Could offer more customized eggs. Maybe omelette made to customer’s liking

Noise from the room above us. Cats all over the property. People at the front desk were not very friendly and borderline rude. Only the European guy that checked us in the first night was considerate and helpful. He even had a nice salad waiting for us as we arrived after supper had finished

Spacious , clean comfortable rooms with a nice hot shower . Cleaning daily if wanted . Food was fresh and tasty with a decent selection at breakfast lunch and diner . Staff very friendly . No complaints here .

The pool was a roof top pool it was a nice area we just didn’t use it much as they’re are also many gorgeous beaches in area so we took advantage of them

Rubbish and the lady staff are discussing in the restaurant and reception staff are disrespectful.

The staff are disrespectful and rude never would I stay there again. There Not helpful at all. Wouldn’t waste your money the hotels boring too!!

The hotel was lovely , very clean and calming , the dining room and canteen area was well organised , the staff was so friendly and helpful , food and drinks was nice too - the pool area was so clean , we walked for 15 mins to the beach and a local spar shop … we will be returning there soon .

The whole team looked after us very very well. It was our first time here but we were treated as if we were returning for a 10th year in a row. Always smiling and nothing too much trouble for them. Very cleaned hotel throughout and rooms cleaned daily. Want to sleep in and skip breakfast maybe? -No problem, just put the do not disturb sign and your room will be cleaned in the afternoon instead. They were all amazing. Very good variety of different cuisines every night with various signature dishes in the evenings. Draught beer, Wine by the glass/bottle and various cocktails and alcohols offered with your meals. Soft drinks, juice/water & coffee also available. Out of meal times - the pool bar is serving Mojitos and Piña Coladas.

Could be my own fault but I was hoping for a bit higher quality of food instead of the usual all-inclusive dishes, meats. I’m no picky eater but some of the dishes offered weren’t very appealing. Could be me - so not taking any points away because of this.

It's too quiet for us.Also it's located on the aptly named mosquito road and we were bitten numerous times.Bring insect repellent.Food was just OK- never hot enoughThe salads were nice but food not hot enough was very disappointing.Also there is no lobby and the only real communal area was the bar restaurant which was only open for food times.There was a pool bar upstairs and people could meet up there.The pool wasn't heated.

Quiet and comfortable hotel. The pool is clean and is heated. I swam there for almost an hour every morning.

Very friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is clean with daily cleaning service, and the breakfast, lunch, and dinner are very good with a wide selection on the menu. I highly recommend it!

There were a lot of ants in the room, the buffet food was often cold, and location is not very practical. Not too expensive so good value for money overall

The position of our suite was 10ft from the main footpath and a main road. 24hour traffic and noise. Couldn’t relax in the sun loungers outside room.We had read reviews about hotel being quiet which is what we wanted. It was boring, no atmosphere. No lounge areas. If you want a drink at night you have to stay in the restaurant which is absolutely freezing. It’s a wind tunnel. Never been on a warm holiday and had to wear a coat to eat in the restaurant. Everyone complained.The food is delicious, but unfortunately they don’t keep it warm. So we were microwaving our meals.The pool was freezing, no way heated. Not enough sun loungers to accommodate guests. The bar by pool closed at 6, only 4 chairs with cushions! Bar in restaurant opens at 7.It’s a real shame, the planning and design of the hotel is all wrong, Nothing to do with people who work in the hotel they were brilliant.We would not recommend this place and would not return. It could be amazing - needs re designing! We came home two days early.

The hotel is clean, quiet and modern. The staff are friendly and attentive. The All Inclusive is good - there was always a good choice. The drinks options are also good - wines, beer, a couple cocktails, whiskey Cream etc as well as soft drinks and ice cream tubs in the freezer.Only a 15 min walk to the beach. New Years Eve Gala Dinner was excellent - including a greeting and welcome by the management team.The hotel is an excellent choice for it's accessibility.

The restaurant is open with a couple of skylights. At this time of year it could be cold and open to the elements at times. As there is no communal lounge area, people would tend to remain at their table to drink and socialise, therefore making it difficult to find an available table. The only option is to return to your room/patio.
