Pros +
- great location, quiet place, awesome hiking nearby, especially going down south through the desert and along the rough coastline. Breakfast and dinner buffet are very good (for 2 days at least, might get repetitive if staying for a longer time).
- breakfast was quite good, and the gym was great, also they have outdoor table tennis
- Very nice stay. Swimming pool is amazing!
Cons -
- On this side of the island it is recommended not to swim in the ocean because of the dangerous under currents.
- the check in lady was the slowest ever, the spa was closed, you needed to pay to play pool, she said the pool was heated but it was super cold
- Bed could be improved, same for pillows and blankets.

Perfect place to relax for two nights after long and windy walking on the GR131. Accommodation, facilities and staff were excellent.
It was fantastic. The hotel exceeded our expectations - everything was great, the room was big and comfortable, with many useful facilities nearby (including great gym!), pool area with pristine water, terrace to eat breakfasts at, lovely stuff. The adorable cats that wander the area and try to sneak into rooms to chill inside and be petted add to a warm and very home-like feeling. And because La Pared is a tiny, remote village (not that it makes any issue - you rent a car anyway!), there's very little night sky light pollution so you can go watch the stars at night by just going a few meters outside the hotel area. We loved it!
An absolute gem. Massive room, quiet dining room with excellent food and lovely pool area
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the room we were allocated and the activities included.
Soap could have been at the sink as well as the showers. The tennis court could have been been reduced for residents.
The hotel is in an amazing location close to the cliffs and the ocean with nothing in between, so the view out of my hotel room was incredible of just the ocean! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was really friendly. The only problem which they need to fix is that the outside lights on the exterior walls of the different buildings only turn on if you happen to see the light switch on the walls. The problem is that the switches are hard to see at night, especially in the buildings further away from the main building. So when I first arrived to find my hotel room, I didn't see a step on the areas on the ground next to the room doors because it was so dark with many hard to see random steps. So I fell badly and twisted my ankle, which hurt for a few weeks after, making it difficult to go for long walks on my vacation. This same thing happened to another person right outside my door a few days later when I heard a loud noise outside my hotel room door and when I opened it, I saw that an older man had happen hard on the ground because he didn't see one of these poorly lit steps! He also didn't see that there was a switch to turn on those lights which would have illuminated the exterior areas around the building. When I told the manager and the district manager, who was visiting, they didn't really apologize very much but just showed me where the outside switches were located. I told him that at night you can't see the switches and that these lights should be always on at night, timed automatically with light sensors. The manager told me that this was the first time any guest had complained about how dark it was around the buildings at night that they couldn't see the random steps here and there or didn't notice the light switches. I find that hard to believe because my eyesight is good but the steps and light switches are very hard to see at night in some of the buildings closest to the sea.
We had a really pleasant stay, the staff was very friendly and helpful in every department. Breakfast was amazing. The hotel complex is very close to a nearby beach with beautiful views ?
Modern and comfortable, close to a super beach, much more charming than the big places.
Dinner buffet underwhelming for 22€.
We loved the spacious apartment with sea view. We also loved the chilled atmosphere, very relaxing. The pool is absolutely beautifully kept and nice to swim in.
I asked for an extra pillow and blanket as was a bit chilly the first night and the staff obliged immediately. It would give a more comfy feel to supply 2 pillows as standard.
Hotel was great but would advise spending money on sea facing room. We were only staying one night and our room was in a central area and very overlooked.
Only as above
We only booked for one night but then booked for another night after we liked it so much. After checking out, we then travelled around going as far as Correlejo before turning around and and coming back for another two nights! Quite simply the best place to stay on the island!
Big clean room. Ideal location just off the GR131 hiking trail. Very friendly staff
Sauna was broken. Orange squash instead of juice.
Very nice room, seaview, swimmingvpool, good buffet, gym.
Terribly hard bed.
Great location for a short stay, just by the sea with wonderful view to the ocean and easy access from the hotel, felt very secured with gates as well. Breakfast was good as well and staff friendly and helpful. Room was spacious with 2 balconies.
A bit outdated room, would probably need some work. Old stained bathtub and the blanket was old and torn as well.
Staff were amazing: so attentive, kind, and excellently organised. Especially fantastic were Antonio and his team at the restaurant, Paolo at the bar, Romina at reception, and Laura with her ‘Animacion’ programme (yoga, pilates, and bachata; all super and she is such a lovely person!). There is a good gym, ping pong, and tennis—all great! The food was great; particularly breakfast was amazing.
Access to the beach was a track! It is not an easy route for families and those less abled. If you get half board, you do not have many options for lunch. At the hotel lunch is offered for €20 pp. There is a nice cafe just outside the hotel and a small shop where you can get sandwich materials. But that is it! La Pared does not have much to offer. You have to rent a car if you want to visit other towns (the nearest is Costa Calma and the bus that takes you there is not very frequent. It takes over an hour to walk there). The Surf School near the hotel is expensive but the Adrenaline Surf School nearby offers more reasonable prices and they are very helpful.
Quiet and secluded hotel. No more than 20 people when we stayed. Immaculately clean, very friendly and attentive staff. Great for cycling within no issue taking bikes in room. Good range of food options for vegetarians at dinner and breakfast
Good food at breakfast and in the evening. Excellent location near beach and wild area for walking, Room comfortable. Swimming pool warm and large enough for a good swim.
Sauna area was not in use this year, which was a pity as I enjoyed it last year. In the restaurant it took a while to get the wine we'd ordered for our meal.
The hotel it's a resort wanna be, or it was a resort but the quality has decreased during the owner changement. If I do not take into account the incident from the beginning of the holiday where they gave us the last room that seemed unused since a while:-not aerated,- with dust on the lamps and not renovated,- there were some problems in the shower that made the water going in all the bathroom floor and also the toilet was not cleaned. We can say that it was OK after we received a decent room with clean toilet, renovated shower and sea view that we paid for from the beginning. We liked the calm of the location, the fact that we could enjoy a breakfast on the terrace, the personal of the restaurant was at the top very kind and very attentive. The girls from the reception staff like Vera, Cristina and Ramona were very kind and helpful and tried to solve any issues that occurred. We liked that there was a pool and some sunbeds where you could lean in the sun.The gym was also a plus and the coached sessions also ok.The beach in Costa Calma that was 10min away by car.It is a good beach for surfers just behind the hotel. It proposes also a lunch( is a la carte from e pre-established menu and a buffet dinner)I really enjoyed at breakfasts the rice with milk, very tasty with a nice flavour of cinnamon and orange!
There will be a list:-The road towards the hotel is a bit broken for like 700m there is no asphalt, or if there is it is broken-There is no parking spot near the hotel, you can park on the street or behind the hotel once you have the access card-The cleaning was not great or not very well done in the room-There was a very rude and ironic guy at the reception - Christian that despite the fact that I claimed my rights, he was not trying to make any effort from his side.-The food from the breakfast and dinner is low quality and not so many choices. You can have a proper breakfast but with limited choices: bacon, eggs, 2types of cheese, coffee from instant coffee from a machine(the tea is better), many types of bread, some pastries with margerine, and some vegetables, some yogurt and milk for cereals but low quality.-For the dinner buffet also seemed low quality, we only took the dinner once as we were invited so I do not consider it deserves the money, but if you don't want to struggle to find a restaurant nearby(means in Costa Calma or other location by car)or so, it is OK to fill your belly.-The SPA and jacuzzi area was closed-The rating from booking remained like this because of the previous owner, in my opinion they need improvement to reach that scoring.
