- I come here every year. I had to upgrade to get the room downstairs with the acces to the backside of the sea. In my past 5 years, the rooms downstairs were never a "uograde". The breakfast is usually amazing but this time it was soo less sooooo bad. I had to rent my robe... I upgraded my room to be noted and.i had to RENT my robe for 65 kr...Imagine there was no shampoo no conditioner... the only good thing in the toilet was the mi I shower to clean ur ass.
Cons -
- You could not extend a night at the desk, without paying a lot more. You had to go online, and hope for the same room - after a chat with a very helpful employee who apologized for the stupid system
- Mold in the shower, carpet torn, shower door broken, lights not working in bathroom, toilet not working and full of shit. Complained and staff never resolved the issues nor responded.
- The breakfast could have been better as we are vegetarian so options were a little less Also you have to pay for the parking

Location, the pool and sauna world, view from the room
The breakfast could have been better as we are vegetarian so options were a little less Also you have to pay for the parking
Great location, good size room. However, no cleaning was provided during our three night stay and I would’ve expected our bin to be emptied as a very minimum !! I had to take it out myself and put stuff (banana peel etc) into an outside public bin to stop it smelling. I expected a quick sweep and bin empty, even if there was no bed making or towel change.
Great location, fantastic breakfast, convenience on site and great spa. A little tired but a comfortable bed and just the ok distance in skiboots :)
Spacious room and there was a small dry cabinet inside for ski equipment, that's great. Excellent location, close to the train station, airport bus stop and also ski bus stop. Good food at restaurant.
Good location, nice breakfast, really good for the price if you get deal. The cable car lift station is in 5 min walking distance.
Parking is expensive, rooms might be cleaned a little bit better.
Excellent location: close to train station and bus stops, shops and supermarket. Spacious room, sofa is big and comfortable. A small dry cabinet inside the room is pretty convenient for drying the ski equipment. Good food in the restaurants.
For breakfast, there were not many hot/warm choices.
It was really nice for our family as it has most of what we need. Breakfast is good and plenty to choose from. Location is very central. Good value for money!
The breakfast was fantastic, with a lot of variety and even some "free from" options. Having ski rental in the building was very handy and the facilities in general were great, with 2 restaurants, spa/pool complex and convenience store on site. I also enjoyed the decor of the hotel and restaurant in general. The train station could be accessed directly from the hotel without having to go outside, which contained a supermarket and several other shops and cafes. The rooms and en-suite bathrooms were spacious with nice window fronts on the rooms. The staff were also very friendly. All in all and excellent hotel at a great price.
The sofa bed wasn't particularly comfortable (though I would never expect too much from a sofa bed) and if you are skiing, the lifts aren't that close. However, you can get the ski bus nearby (less than 100m) that takes you straight to the slopes.
The reception staff were lovely and made check in quick and a smooth process. The room allowed you to feel like you were at home with a sofa and chair that created a mini living room which was wonderful and it had a great view of the mountain. The location is perfect right in the middle of the town of åre which allowed us to venture out for dinner and walk around which was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent, there was a lot of choice and truly exceptional bread. There was something for every taste.
Our room unfortunately had a broken shower door and the shower was not fully cleaned. We informed the reception when we left and showed them photos
That it had a parking, it was big, it had spa and pool, included breakfast was good.
The pool water is too cold. 2/4 saunas were not operational. Our shower was leaking. Very narrow single beds. Super expensive late checkout: 150nok/hr!
Great location and a clean spacious room.
There is only one entrance at the end of the hotel, it is a large hotel with very long corridors so would be a huge plus off there were more entrances for guests, at least during the day.
Nice location, nice reception and interior. Breakfast was good. Multiple facilities available
Work down facilities and interior. The shower doors don’t close so there was a water leakage on the floor every time someone showers. The sink drainage is strange; the dirty water runs out onto the floor from a pipe into a drain in the floor. The pool facilities are quite old and run down. Can be very crowded at times in the reception
Clean, cozy. Staff were accommodating and kind.
The Staff was really nice they gave us a late checkout even though they were fully booked the day we left.
The bathroom was in need of renovation around the shower and there was some hair there when we arrived. I couldn’t book a room for 4 people even though there were 2 single beds and a pullout couch that my youngest daughter and I could have easily shared. The booking app forced me to book 2 rooms and when we arrived we noticed we could have comfortably just had one room! I was an adult travelling with 3 kids so my oldest had to take the extra room by himself when he would have rather been in with us. He is a teenager so it wasn’t the end of the world, but I would have appreciated getting dimensions for the sleeper couch and being able to make my own decision about how many rooms to use. I talked to other families who were 2 adults and 2 kids using 1 room. I was 1 adult and 3 kids youngest 10 and we were forced to use 2 rooms. That is a problem with how the rooms are put onto booking.
Very nice hotel. A lot of things to do with small kids, good food, amazing breakfast and very nice people who working there. But the beds was the worst part, very uncomfortable to sleep.
Good hotell.. too many dogs
Food at olearys and the Staff there have a way to go...
The check in and out, breakfast and O'Leary's staff we all great. The room, was close to ICA and close proximity to the town was awesome. The food selection at breakfast was great.
The shower doors were stuck and hard to live and the water temperature adjusted the temperature automatically up and down. It was very hot when it raised. The hot food for breakfast was cold.
