Hotel Playa de las Catedrales

Location was great

Needed updating. Could hear all noises from the hallway. Bathroom door didn’t close. Bed was not very comfortable. No fan in the room. Had to open the window at night to get some air.

Very close to Playa de las Catedrales and to Ribadeo and Foz.The owner was extremely helpful in telling us about the area and recommended places to visit.Breakfast was good and parking was on site.

The location is very good. Walking distance from the famous beaches. The staff is very kind and helpful.

Breakfast was late only at 9. The wifi didn’t really work and was very weak.

The two biggest, if not the only, advantages of the hotel are the absolutely fantastic team (at the reception, in the breakfast room) and the proximity to the Playa de las Catedrales.

Small, cold (literally and figuratively) room, bathroom that still stank after renovation, but traces of mold were still visible under the paint. An uncomfortable bed that we were afraid would fall apart under us. Terrible acoustics, you can hear everything that happens in neighboring rooms and at the reception desk. The immediate surroundings of the hotel are not very aesthetic, certainly not the kind that would be associated with a seaside vacation. And above all, the room was incredibly overpriced.

The property was adequately located to visit the Playa de Las Catedrales and close to Ribadeo. The staff, especially Fernando, were very friendly.

I wish the property will invest and improve the mattress quality as well as the pillows.

The owner was really nice and helpful. He found time to help me with the itinerary and gave me some great tips regarding the best locations in the area.

Clean, neat and tidy - friendly informative staff. It is what it says on the label - very handy location immediately adjacent to popular beach and beautiful rock formations by the sea. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment, but it is available - which is always a bonus. Good value for money.

The room was slightly smaller than anticipated, so would be difficult access for anyone with disability issues - but was fine for our needs.

Rodrigo and 'the boss' are very friendly and helpfull with everything. This makes the stay very very good. The Cathedrales Beach was just a 10 minutes away and rhere is a great wooden road to it. And there is a restaurant nearby, also very good and friendly. The breakfast is also very nice!

There is not that much sphere in the hotel and in the room, but eh... hé when you read above what was good and you see what the price is... don't hesitate and book this hotel!!

Just up from the beach and a short walk to the playa de las Catedrales. Room was comfortable. The staff were engaging and were obviously working hard to ensure we were well taken. Are of.

It was so neat, tidy and clean. Such a nice hotel with extremely helpful staff and owner. So nice to see that an owner takes a personal interest in his own business. Hotel is also only a walk away from the famous Cathedral Beach. A must see!

The staff and owner were so friendly and helpful even when we only booked hours before. The hotel was in a great location and very clean with a delicious breakfast too.

Shame we didn’t have time to stay longer…

No water or really low presure of water in the morning or at night. Welcome clearness of the room. Acustics of the rooms. Really basic continental breakfast as in a student hostel.

The location was absolutely perfect. Great for visiting As Catedrais beach and walking in the gorgeous area.The staff was very kind and helpful. Special thanks to the ladies who clean the rooms every single day, our room was spotlessly clean!Many thanks and warm regards!

There was a bit of smell, but after keeping the room opened for some time, we couldn't feel it anymore.

The hotel is close to Cathedral beach which we loved. The room was very clean and quiet. We had a lovely view of the beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good locaion, but low service

Breakfast is not worth to buy and starts only at 9 a.m. It is poor and the braekfast-room is very loud. It is ver hard to get a bill from the hotel. Finally we could leave the place at 10:20. This is too late.....
