Old hotel not renovated since ages, no services available for anything, wifi is working badly so much noisy its a horrible hotel

A bit tatty needs a refurb.Staff at reception didn't tell us about restaurant in hotel or any other things on offer. Room very warm, couldn't get it cooler without opening window & then it was noisy.No tea/coffee facilities in room, although you can purchase a hot drink in restaurant.Shower went very hot or cold, no constant temperature.Hairdryer didn't blow, just warm air came out.Lighting in room was rubbish, very dark & the decor was dark so didn't help.In general didn't think it was worth the cost.

It was clear that better maintenance was needed to prevent odor buildup. 4. Impact on StayThe bathroom smell negatively affected my comfort during my stay, making me hesitant to use the bathroom at times. This is unacceptable in any hotel.ConclusionOverall, the bathroom odors were a significant factor that made my stay at URH Ciutat de Mataró less than satisfactory. I hope this issue will be addressed to ensure a better experience for future guests.

The staff is excellent, always attentive and willing to help with whatever you want, very friendly above all.

The mattress was extremely hard! I couldn't rest comfortably.

Everything was horrible, the room we took was destroyed never been maintained table lamps broken desk is dirty and scratched no chair or sofa as the photos was we took superior room thats mean to be all this facility, shampoo in the bathroom from day one we checked inn was empty, room cleansers very noisy starting from the morning moving things in very tough way, there is to much noisy sounds from a water pumpers motors, the windows is not soundproof at all u hear every single thing outside, breakfast very bad nothing much and we paid alot for nothing nothing makes me come back again also wifi is not working most of the day

Very friendly staff, helped me several times. Good location - there is bus station nearby and beach at the 10minutes walking distance. The room was fine: big and comfortable. But there was no ceiling light, so it wasn't really light.

Clean and good location. Liked Mataro very much and so easy to get into Barcelona as the express bus stop is about 25 metres away. EUR4.90 for a 40 minute journey.

I was so surprised by this hotel as the reviews previously had given it quite low scores. We found it so welcoming, the room was a good size, it was quiet and clean. The reception staff were so helpful.

We had a fire alarm in the night that proved to be a false alarm! The staff dealt with the issue very efficiently and calmly.

In the morning rusted water was coming so I could not take bath.

Location it's quite good for eating out visit local amenities and using transports all within 10 minutes!But it seems that rubbish collectors at mid night it's so noisy it's a pain!..I meant to go to the town Hall(ayuntamiento) and place a complain as why can't they collect during the day!!...but is not the hotel fault !!

I like the room bright and airy, not so much the picture of machinery on the wall hardly inspiring when you take time off to be with family and friends and you get back to the room with those wheels nuts snd bolts on the wall!!Mostly I liked the bathroom! And I like the fact that its clean and when coming back it's all dust free and nice ! And the bed it's do comfortably and good for sleeping well with superb crisp clean bed linen!! I loved that!

I returned to this hotel because my first stay has been very good.

The room I was in was very unlike my first stay. Small, loud from hallways and elevator. Not clean. Needed renovation . Outlet not working. Lower in building so lots of street noise.

Hotel and staff were nice, good clean bathroom and bedroom,

we had room 108 and it was next to the road, so loud, also only a sheet on the bed, no quilt, so it was cold at night.

The room was very big and clean, with pretty view to green inner courtyard. Beds were big and comfortable. Staff was polite and everything worked well.
