    Pros +

    • Perfect location. Very cozy hotel and cafe. Friendly staff. Good appartment with a small but excellent kitchen. Access to public sauna in the habour just in front of the hotel.
    • The host was excellent on arrival . Very friendly and served us a long needed drink after walking from Ronnie that same day to stay there. An honesty bar was a welcome addition as we missed any restaurants for dinner.
    • The place is right by the harbor with great views if the sea and boats. Rooms are clean and cozy, the vommunal space very well organized and decorated. This hotel has definitely its charm. I would totally recommend it and in the future I plan to stay there again.

    Cons -

    • Part of the balcony with sea view was covered by a wall.
    • A better quality breakfast would have been a bonus.
    • Nowhere on the hotel information did it say that there were ALOT of stairs and no elevator. I was traveling with a 77 yr old women who couldn't do all the stairs,30+ steps. Furthermore on the lower outside stairs into the property there were large flower pots placed diagonally up the stairs making the 6' wide stairs only passable for a single person. We made it work for the 5 days we were there but this information would have been very helpful in making this hotel choice as an elevator is need with with luggage and older folks who cant do stairs easily.

The location is a beautiful place on the small harbor. You can watch the sunrise and set from this location. The refreshments available in the living room were perfect, it meant we could have a simple cocktail, snack on our own and relax inside or outside on the terrace. Our room faced the harbor and this made it perfect for a beautiful view and lovely photos, as well as we could listen to the lapping water of the sea. The breakfast buffet was also great

The location was perfect overlooking the harbour. The hotel was very homely and relaxing, with a pretty garden area. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There was access to tea/coffee 24/7 and a lovely little gift shop. Local transport close by. I would return here again.

A wonderful place where to spend magic moments. The hotel is placed in front at the small port and we had the fortune to stay in a room with the window on this very nice view. The staff it was very kindly.Hope to comeback again!

Very cosy hotel with lots of atmosphere, wonderful location close to the sea and harbour and close to the amazing nature area Hammerknuden. Good breakfast with warm bread. Super friendly staff and clean room and common areas.

    Beautiful setting, great views.

Manager was rude. Although coffee is advertised, he said we couldn't get any. There was no coffee in the room. He gave us a teaspoon of instant coffee for the room. There was no salt and pepper, sugar, oil or one other basic kitchen supply. The kettle wás faulty. No teabags. Worst of all was our room was on the third floor with very difficult outdoor steps. I literally could not use the steps without help. This was not mentioned anywhere on the Booking.com site. We felt we'd been deceived and poorly treated.

The location facing harbour with a very nice view and walking distance to the town centre. The cosy restaurant for breakfast.

No staff available at the reception.Small room for the price and bad smell in the hallways.Quite poor breakfast, no healthy choice and already at 9am it was almost finished.

Nice small hotel. Rooms small but cozy.

The hotel is nice, cozy and comfortable as always. The location is great too.

All those spiders and dead flies in the corridor - would be great to see them removed.

The location is wonderful - seaview from most of the rooms! We also really liked the atmosphere of the breakfast room and our kids loved the dollhouse in this room.

Unfortunately, our rooms were on separate floors and it wasn't possible to change one of the rooms. That was quite tricky with three small children.

Great location, calm and beautilful view on the landscape, sea and clifs

No restaurants in the village, after a day biking, maybe bad planning for my side.

Very nice hotel, easy check-in and check-out. Friendly staff and an amazing breakfast with something for everyone even though it wasn’t a big buffet! A room with a beautiful view!

The bathroom was clean but the shower curtain was a bit dirty.

    Moderate breakfast.

Very small double room and tiny shower room.

Beautiful hotel right by the marina. Nice "living room" area. Short walk to the beach. Very quiet. We assume the staff was friendly - we actually never talked to anyone! Everything was organized so you never interacted with anyone. Beautiful place.

The only downside was the shower - very small and with a curtain that blows back to touch you when you shower - kind of weird as you never know how clean the shower curtain is. Other than that, perfect!

Most charming hotel on an absolutely beautiful spot. The small harbour of Sandvig is a really nice place. In the Hotel, the breakfast buffet is good, with freshly baked buns. The beds are very comfortable, nice living room downstairs to hang out, all good

Really nothing that bothered me in any way

    10SusanPosted on: 6-29-2022

Loved the location, right at the harbour, and also the common spaces, such as the terrace out front, the garden in the back, and the lounge inside. The owners were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Very good value.

Typical Bornholm style. Good located. Super nice gest room to use, nice breakfast.

Rooms at the new part of the hotel. Hotel with a potential on a 5* Hotel but... 3* are fair.

Perfect location for walks around the Hammeren area and to visit Hammershus early. Visiting during offseason we felt we had the hotel and the village to ourselves. Breakfast was excellent. Very convenient parking.

The hot water ran out while we (two persons) were taking our morning showers. There was only one free electrical outlet in the room meaning we had to unplug a lamp to charge two phones at the same time. This could easily be fixed by adding a power strip to one of the outlets.
