I Bastioni San Domenico - Boutique Hotel

We enjoyed the location and the rooftop breakfast at this hotel.

Room was on the first floor and quite dark because the window looked onto a small alleyway.

The hotel has a great location - on the one-way ring road that goes around the island of the old city of Gallipoli. Our room had an amazing view of the sunset! There is also a roof-top terrace available with similarly amazing views. There are lots of restaurants in the area with many fresh seafood choices. We enjoyed rest breaks in our room with a light sea breeze coming through the open windows along with soft music coming from the restaurant across the street. Parking is located off the island - a 10+ minute walk away.

Wifi in the room was spotty.

our room 1 on ground floor was not good at all. Very small shower with partially operable window in the bedroom looking right into the street. The room had mild odor of drain in the bathroom.

The hotel and restaurant were AMAZING! The photos don’t do it justice. Staff was so helpful! Owner was the best! The rooftop breakfast was a highlight of my trip. I would recommend this to anyone.

Parking at the port is a bit hectic but it’s a nice walk to the hotel and they allow you to load/unload luggage.

All was good. The ladies that were responsible for the wonderful breakfast were such a pleasure. Their attention to details of the food and also the service were great. The location of where the breakfast was amazing, it put the whole day off to a great start.

the WiFi in our room was less than good, even after the technician was sent to address it.

It is a very charming hotel in the historic center, extremely comfortable, close to all attractions, the rooftop view is a must

The parking is not that close

The location is great, close to everything. The terrace views are amazing, would be good to have a small bar there or have breakfast serve there. The staff very friendly and always helpful. Lobby is lovely.

Breakfast was okay, but could be better. I honestly prefer to have something in a local coffee shop.

Great hotel to stay. Location is good. Room is clean. Would definitely come back. The staff kept our luggage after checkout which was a great gesture.

The reception personnel were wonderful. We reserved a car parking space and they took us and brought us to pick up car when our trip was over. The room was light and airy against the scenes of the blues water. The breakfast was better than most 5 star hotels. All of the staff were friendly, lively and fun.

Nice toiletries and very clean rooms. Nice firm bed with a nice softer topper. Very very good water pressure and temperature for hand and rain shower. Location was great for food and visiting old town. Off peak season had the ZTL off and one could park right up front of the hotel. Very nicely decorated hotel. Gave us a room upgrade to one with balcony over seeing the pedestrians. nice receptionist that always greeted us and great ladies who served us at breakfast. Breakfast selection was wonderful, especially the bruschetta and fresh fruits (persimmon) was a plus. There is a mini mart around the corner.

Parking is scarce and would probably have to wait till 4pm after the lunch crowd to find a slot. Could provide free water during our stay, the only hotel that didn’t provide us water. Otherwise, could leave the water dispenser at the cafe available for self refill.

It is a very nice hotel - the room was very nice and also clean. The Staff was always very friendly and kind and also the view to the see is great - It this time of the year (31. Okt) it was even possible to go by car right in front of the hotel and there were also free parking spaces on the street, very close (this is not possible during the summer due to ZTL)We are already considering to come again next year.

Great location. Disappointed that breakfast was not on the rooftop as advertised. Breakfast was very good but in a room on the ground floor. Staff member met us at the entrance. Used the hotel paid parking with driver transport - expensive, but worth it.

Light coloured nice room with beautiful sea view. Very good air conditoning.Very good brekafast.Kind and polite lady i reception when checking out.

The staff were very helpful, with good communication before and during our stay. The location was great on the waters edge, and easy to navigate to & from.

Location, beautiful and well appointed rooms and a friendly staff who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend!!
