Hotel Ristorante Mariano

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Stigliano. One of the things I love most about the town is its small, everyone knows everyone, and that sense of community adds something really special to the experience.The hotel itself is in a perfect location, just a short walk from my family members' homes, which made everything super convenient. The staff were very kind and welcoming from the moment I arrived, always ready to help with anything I needed.The food was absolutely delicious . I also appreciated the daily room service, which kept everything spotless and well-stocked. Each day, they provided fresh soap, lotion, shower caps, a toothbrush, toothpaste, and even a comb. The water pressure was great, and the warm water was consistent and reliable.Overall, a lovely experience in a cozy town — I would definitely stay here again!

The staff are all friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant twice and both times were excellent. Recommend the tomahawk steak, pasta and bruschetta. Ideal parking for motorcycles behind secure gate. Espresso in the hotel cafe is perfect.

Staff really great, seemed like a family run business. Room very clean. Breakfast great and ate at the restaurant which was also very good. Free gift was given to us when we left. A good location if visiting Craco.

The room had a view and it was quite large with a spacious bathroom with EXCELLENT amenities! The staff was always helpful and very kind. The attached ristorante is absolutely exceptional...everything, repeat everything, is fresh and delicious. Absolutely impossible to go wrong here no matter what you order to eat. Compliments to Giuseppe Mariano!!!

Hotel Ristorante is located in a beautiful hillside town in the mountains. The hotel is lovely and the restaurant is excellent. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome.

Very large, quiet & well appointed room with large bathroom (good shower), also great air conditioning & spotlessly clean. Giuseppe couldn’t have been more accommodating, opening the walled garden area to securely park our motorbikes & offering us drinks on arrival.The outside restaurant was surprisingly busy with locals for a Tuesday night but we were given a table straight away & enjoyed a fabulous meal with attentive service.We also enjoyed a walk around the town taking in the artwork & statues.

The manager was friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. For dinner, you can eat at Ristorante Mariano.The prices are more than reasonable and the food is good. In the village, there are not many shops but you can find art on several occasions. Before leaving we even got a little present from the owner

It didn't bother me, but there are steps to climb to the 2nd or 3rd floor.

No fresh milk..had to keep asking for it...needs a cooler in breakfast room to keep milk available.The breakfast was the same every day..would have been nice to have a bit of variety.Sound proofing required as a lot of noise from corridor could be heard from bedroom.

Located in a charming town, close to the centre and next to beautiful parkland and walking tracks.Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and treated like family. Special mention to Giuseppe who welcomed us with kindness.

The room and the staff was perfect

Breakfast was quite simple. For me it was just enough, but others might want something more diverse.

The room was clean and comfy. In the bathroom they were all the essentials. The restorable was very good.

All the staff in the hotel was absolutely lovely, helpful and welcoming. The bedroom was immaculate, bed comfortable, excellent wifi. Great buffet breakfast as well. We decided to eat in the evening at the restaurant and we had very good pizzas and cakes for dessert. Prices for restaurant reasonable. With no hesitation, recommends this hotel.

Helpfull nice staff, everything very clean, self service varried breakfast better than in most 4 star hotels, excellent value for money. When leaving they gave us a gift- 2 large packs of pasta.

We had a great sleep with an amazing view from our room. Also take dinner in the restaurant from the hotel. It is great.

Location was perfect for us. We were visiting relatives and it was convenient. Value was excellent. Room was great. Staff was very nice and accommodating. We loved it!
