Everything was good it was near to the port as we arrived late from getting off the ferry

The hotel was very clean situated away from the town but near the train station which was what I wanted. There is a bus that takes you to town if that’s what you wanted to do.

Location. We did not have a car so it was $15-20 each time for taxi to town.

We have stayed at this hotel before and it was excellent but this time it was very disappointing.

The receptionist didn’t speak with us, hello would have been nice not just booking reference? Our room was comfortable and clean, two cups for tea would have been nice instead of just one accompanying three tea bags only. Only three toileteries, no tissues, no spare toilet roll. No tooth mug, only two plastic glasses. This hotel is not cheap! The barmaid asked us how to make a cappacino, she said she only had small cups, we settled for coffee in glasses. Dinner was terrible, I asked if it was hot it came cold. At breakfast the waitress was sweeping the floor making dust everywhere with uncovered food. The eggs were cold and I was told I could put them in the microwave. I said I didn’t want them, then as we were leaving the chef said he would cook me fresh eggs. It was too late. This hotel was a miserable experience this time, and very expensive for a bad experience.

A clean modern hotel with caring staff (night manager very helpful with a problem)

My error as the hotel is in the industrial area of town not the centre. Ideal for business maybe a little less for sightseeing

If you do not have a car and need to get to the port be aware: you need a taxi.

Furniture needs refurbishment and shower was not bad but not fully functional. The location is far from anything to visit if you don't have your own means of transport and you will be stuck in the quiet hotel

This is the perfect stopover after arriving on the daytime ferry from Greece. It's just a stone's throw from the ferry port in the middle of the industrial estate and looks unpreposessing from the outside, but it's not somewhere you stay for old-town charm; rather, it offers a good dinner, plenty of easy and free parking, very large comfortable beds, it's pet-friendly and has an excellent breakfast to set you up perfectly for your journey the next day. It's more expensive than I normally like to pay; but the location and aforementioned benefits make it worth the money.

Be aware that the restaurant is only open Mon-Fri until 21.30 in the evening. Given that the hotel's prime clientele is people arriving or departing on ferries to Greece and Albania, it would be nice if the restaurant had less stressful opening hours. Signposts from the ferry to the hotel would be useful, but I imagine that is down to the local council, not the hotel. But you will need to use Google maps or equivalent to find it as the industrial estate is a bit of a maze, especially in the dark.

This was not in the commercial center as I thought it was across the water. Fortunately we had a car but parking in town was difficult. Also, the fitness facility didn’t have much equipment and what was there didn’t work.
