Dated facilities.

The price was good and the maids did a very good job of keeping the place clean. I found it fascinating that the common areas hadn't been updated in decades and it really was like taking a trip back in time to the '70s. I don't consider that to be a bad thing as long as everything is clean...and it was. The bathroom had been updated however and was nice. The little old man who worked the desk in the afternoon was very sweet. You might need a word or two of Italian. Brindisi is not Rome, where everyone speaks English.

When they tell you check-out time is 11.00 they really, really mean it. If you're still in the room someone will bang on the door and you'd better be ready to leave.

I booked dbl room with sea view and balcony and I got view to some buildings and no balcony. Explanation - we have only few rooms with sea view and balcony, ask booking.com about their mistake.

I recommend not booking the 3rd floor with balconies to the back of the hotel.

Convenient location of the hotel, you can reach the old town on foot. Possibility to eat in the restaurant located in the same building. There are several free parking lots nearby.

Basic hotel. Lovely staff Bus to ferry stops right out front. 500 m walk to main Corso and everything in Brindisi. Wouldn’t spend a week there but a fine two star overnighter.

Don’t stay for decor or pillows.

Bedding and bathroom very clean. Day staff friendly and helpful. Cheap.

Bathroom terrible smell although they did put lots of air fresheners around the room . Well outdated. Needs some tender loving care. No kettle in the room. Location not great, got a bit lost trying to find steps down to entrance. Aircon very dusty and outdated, wouldn't use it.

We arrived late (flight delay) but the staff were friendly and helpful, even finding an appropriate plug adapter for us to borrow (we had a north European and this is clearly south - the pins have a wider spread). In the morning we had had help including instructions for getting to the railway station.

The only good thing about this place was the location.

You could not take the elevator from the reception. You had to take some stairs first. So if you had luggage you had to carry them a bit! The receptionist was rude. The room was not clean enough. The air-conditioning was not functioning properly. The breakfast area was dirty and without air conditioning. Also, the fridge was extremely small.

Staff was very helpful and greeted us very nicely. Everything was clean and ready for new guests :)

The hotel is bit older and the terrace roofs are a bit broken. It doesnt change much about the trip tho.

Disgusting, smelly and a complete deception

What an absolute dump of a place! It stinks, all dirty and worn out. Booked sea view apartmetn and got prison cell with no window to look out through and on the wrong side of the building. I was unable to stay there out of disgust, but didn't get compensated even a cent for the 2 nights paid. A tourist trap! Avoid at all costs!

Warning for people who will fall into the trap of 3* hotel. This place should have minimum 1* if not 0*The hotel is situated next to a very busy road and during the night there are constantly noisy cars and especially motorcycles driving back and forward. The hotel is not maintained well at all and you can hear all the noises through the windows that are not correctly sealed. (Basically they don't close up at all because they are old) Without earplugs sleeping here is impossible. Keep that in mind. Also the walls and doors are to thin that you can hear what's going on in the next room and on the corridor.The hotel is filthy even though they clean it every day, it's ridiculous because as you can see from the photos it's disgusting. All they do is to sweep the floor and change the bin bag and wipe off the visible surface no deep clean recorded. Bathroom was extremely filthy as you can see from attached photos. Mould inside the shower is absolutely unacceptable.This place is some sort of a bad joke and should be downgraded so people won't get confused once they fall into this trap of 3* hotel. It's not. This place should be closed down and renovated because nothing has been changed here since the 80s.Also air conditioning installed in the room has not been cleaned since I guess the beginning because once you take a look inside you can see full of black mould and dust. Sneezing constantly may give you an idea of how dirty rooms really are. People running this hotel stopped in early 90s and since then nothing has been properly upgraded and maintained. Shocking but true.The cherry on the cake was the fact when I asked one of the receptionists if I could leave my backpack at the reception for a few hours due to having a flight in the evening he abruptly told me I can only leave it outside the reception on the hallway and only for 2 hours, so they don't take any responsibility for it.

The air conditioning barely worked, it was very hot in the room.

For this price quality is acceptable. There was good Italian style breakfast.

Distance to old town.

Great place for the money. Friendly, helpful staff. Great location with easy access to the harbour and the town. Excellent shower. Breakfast included. Excellent coffee.
