Ibis Budget Madrid Getafe

Inconvenient if you're visiting Madrid. Walking to the mall was the best chance to get reasonable food. That was about 1 mile away, walking. Driving was several miles. Place was clean, neat, and TINY. The smallest Ibis room yet. Stay closer to the city.

Location I found really awkward to find, but I think it's that Madrid ring road system. The hotel is in the middle of an industrial area, l9ads of rubbish every where, depots etc noise in the night with people working - not pleasant at all. No where to eat, other than food supplied by the hotel eg pizzas and sandwiches not great. The room has a faint smell of sewage from the shower. It was much worse in the morning. Would I ever stay there again? NO. Would I recommend it? NO

No Tea & Coffee making facilities in the room.

The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable

First impressions of the surrounding area are a bit worrying but it is actually quite safe and peaceful

Close to motorway so easy acess for a stop off on the way to the ferry. Room was small but clean and functionable

Quiet location. Lots of parking in gated hotel. Cameras/ security. Compact room, perfect for a base, hot shower, tv, toilet, and comfortable bed. Heating and aircon . Buffet breakfast was lovely juice, cold meats, boiled eggs, tomato, bread/ toast, fruit, cakes and cereal with choice of milks, coffee etc Buffet was constantly stocked as depleted. Staff attentive. 30 min drive into Madrid centre. Parking in town @ 5€ hour.

We stayed here for one night only as a transit hotel on our way to Granada. Its real value for money, Room is VERY clean. Comfortable bed. Surprisingly we didn't hear the traffic sound (read other reviews about traffic sounds disturbing their rest) The check in & checkout process was smooth. The on site cafe is open 24 hours (i think), serve decent food, affordable too. Buffet breakfast for 7Euro.We chose this property because they provide parking/free road side and its close to the highway. Overall, a pleasant stay in a pleasant property.

Paula the receptionist was great. They really took care of my request of a silent room.

Cleaning was not bad but there are details that might be improved. I noticed a possible lack of cleaning staff personnel.

Noise noise noise , no sound proof walls paper thin had someLunatic above moving furniture around for 6 hours , could not sleep one small pillow , may as well put a tent out in Piccadilly Circus also good crap , had 2 pizzas as arrived late after long drive and wanted to relax it was cooked on a tiny pizza dish straight out of the freezer utter rubbish , advice eat out and take eat out as fast food outlets not far drive and take earplugs

Very nice and clean I prefer to stay here .very close to nissaca mall we’re there are lots of food cots and restaurants take bus 427 and metro line 3 to reach sol town centre

Only it’s bit far from city central but bus and metro connection are good

fine for price taxis cost anywhere between 10nand 29 euro to access public transport for centre of madrid
