Hotel Ciudad de Valladolid

I loved the breakfast! The staff were friendly and helpful. I also appreciated the ice cold lemon water in the lobby every day. I liked the location. It was easy to walk to the city center, but not in the city center. I could open my window at night and it was quiet and cool.

I was disappointed that there was no air conditioning in my room.

The room its a little bit small

The room was comfy and spotless, TV was according to good standards, bathtub was great, minibar in the room allowed me to keep cool milk for my kid, staff tried to be helpful. The breakfast was fantastic though a little pricey unless you eat your b*tt off.

In the true castilian spirit, sometimes when you're being helped, you're also being told off. I'm aware of it, it's just the way people are so that you can do it right next time. No wonder they get the best education in the country. It's a sport to tell people what they do wrong and how to do things right. But I can imagine other guests can be put off by it.It does give you a bit of a 90s feeling, the decor is not according to today's standards, but tbh I don't care at all.

Nice hotel in residential area which was very quiet and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and stayed dark .. ideal for a good nights sleep.

Location was a bit odd in the middle of residential high rises and not close to very much. Restaurant was closed the night we arrived. Friendly desk stadf

Breakfast was good value for money. All surfaces were very clean and the choice of things to eat EXCELLENT. I wished I had a bigger stomach to eat all the lovely things. Room was comfortable and clean, a little bit dated in decor and the age of the room itself but perfectly comfortable.

Only minus is that the room was sometimes too hot.

Clean. Very helpful staff. Quiet. Comfortable. Great heater (I was there in winter). About 2km from train station can walk there or take a taxi (I paid less than 10 euro to return to train station). Large room with desk and extra chair.

Great position easy walk to the centre. Quiet and great breakfast. Secure parking, underground although a bit expensive at€17 per day.

Restaurant closed

The junior suite was very spacious, perfect to receive us with our 2 dogs. The staff was friendly and provided us some dog beds and bowls for food and water. The bed was very confortable and big. Very quiet room.

The bathtub was leaking some water when we started to use it. Also there was no glass or curtain, so a lot of the bathroom got sprayed when we showered.

Breakfast was very good. We had a problem with the tv and it was sorted very quickly. Checkout was 12 o’clock which really helped us.

Restaurant facilities room size holes in trowels and curtains cracked sink tired decor tiles on arrival ( not when booked) that the bar and restuarant where closed because of festival.

Reception and greeting was ok however no information given on arrival.

Access from the garage was poor.One lift for two floors from the garage to reception level- you then had to change over to the lifts for the hotel floors. This made carrying luggage very difficult.The lift from the garage was very small and claustrophobic whereby one person could only fit in that lift.Lighting from the garage to reception level up stairs was poor.

Beautiful hotel 20 minutes walking from the city centre. Friendly and professional staff. Big room with comfortable bed and spacious clean bathroom. We enjoyed everything about our stay, breakfast included.

Friendly reception staff. The secure parking was not over priced and was located in the underground parking at the hotel. This garage was air conditioned too! The rooms were spacious clean and quiet! You receive a free bar drink if you had choose to receive no house keeping the next day. It was their way of trying to be economical. A walk away from the main city centre which was perfect.

Loved it all.

Easy to get to. Not high rise. Near bars and somewhere to eat. Good area nearby for walking the dogs. Room was excellent and fabulous choice at breakfast. Person who checked us in was helpful and attentive

Hotel is a bit outdated and not within walking distance of good restaurants or attractions.
