Pros +
- A decrepit and depressing hotel. The girls at the reception were very interested in charging the breakfast bill which was not included in the price. Really pathetic.
- Nothing.Everything is tired but clean. The hotel description lists a car charging option. But that's not true. The charging station is located at the nearby gas station, not at the hotel.
- Above average restaurant for hotel like Ibis. Very welcome after a long day on the road. Comfortable bed. Very pleasant and helpful staff, which was a relief because past experiences in Spain had me expecting grumpy customer service.
Cons -
- We booked a room at this hotel, thinking it was a decent, world-famous chain. Moreover, we didn't consider other options from private owners. But that was a mistake. As we were approaching the hotel, a female voice called me and asked when we would arrive. It was 7:30 PM. I said we needed 30 minutes. She said she'd give us until 8:00 PM, and if later, she'd cancel the reservation (!???). Okay. At 7:45 PM, we were at the reception desk. The female voice belonged to the receptionist, Mayte. She'd seen our reservation, but for some reason, she wanted to repay it again. I showed her the payment through Booking.com and the payment with my credit card, but Mayte still demanded that I repay the room. I called Booking.com customer service. Booking.com employees contacted Mayte several times in my presence, but she was adamant. For some reason, she didn't see the payment in the hotel's booking system. So our check-in dragged on for an hour and a half. Suddenly, Mayte's expression changed, she smiled, and said she saw our payment. And we could check into our room. This was after an hour and a half of negotiations, requests, and calls to Booking.com. Mayte didn't apologize, didn't give us the password to the hotel's guest Wi-Fi, and didn't offer to buy breakfast at the hotel. She simply said she saw the payment and we could proceed to our room. It was the worst check-in of my life!P.S. After an hour and a half of waiting, we couldn't park our car, use the restroom, or get a drink of water. I'd imagine there would be special customer service policies for situations like this, but the hotel seems completely lacking in customer service.
- Weird loud water noise late at night...maybe from the kitchen cleaning up? Our room was right above and it was surprising how loud it was. Sounds carried quite a bit from the hallways, especially doors slamming shut.
- Additional charge for pets is very high.

Easy parking, pet friendly.
Additional charge for pets is very high.
Good position , parking a handy stop over from the ferry to the Algarve. It’s dog friendly and there’s a really nice park within 10 mins walk of this Ibis.
The breakfast arrangements seemed to have changed since our last stay and we found the breakfast limited
The location the parking food friendly staff.
The one thing I didn't like was the flying mattress it nearly fell off the bed it needs anchoring down .
Good location near higway. Pets allowed ?
Breakfast. Modest food.
Welcoming staff. Clean room with plenty of hot water. Great location after a long journey - easy to find from motorway. Surprisingly good evening food and bar with big screen. Great stop over.
Easy to get to from Santander and great base fir onward journey. Able to park motorcycle outside reception.
Clean and neat and good food options
Very noisy truck noise with the logistics centre on site
Lovely staff, spoke very good English. Room basic but very clean. Excellent shower. Only complaint was no safe in room but other than that, great value for money. Highly recommend. Food, dinner and breakfast was really lovely. Hotel very clean and quiet, a number of guest took their dogs but no smell. Would go back. Taxi to centre of Valladolid around 10€. Download Google translation as not all drivers speak English.
Good staff, good food and free parking
Clean, quiet and comfortable.
Breakfast was not ideal, it was mostly industrial and then prepared/baked/warmed on site. I suppose this helps keep costs down, but one can taste that it is not quality home-made food.
Warm room, good shower, comfortable. Good location for road to Portugal.
No English speaking tv
Convenience, clean, comfortable
Very basic standard, limited menu, not a good meal (over cooked in microwave)
Friendly staff, and a very convenient location. I could have dinner at the time I arrived and they offered me the option to have a room with a double bed instead of two single ones. I appreciated it a lot!!
Very comfortable hotel. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful
A little too far out of the centre.
Great location, excellent staff. Good parking. Very comfortable room, nice restaurant and dog friendly. There are two parks within 10 minutes, which make dog walking a pleasure.
Breakfast was good, as was the evening meal on site. It's a really nice (if long) walk along the river into the city centre but in terms of finding it from the motorway it's really easy.Room was clean, shower hot and staff were very friendly to us and the dog.
Air con/heating thermostat in the room seemed to be on auto no matter what we did with the dial - as a result room was too warm overnight. I understand it is common to charge for allowing dogs to stay and I appreciate Ibis offering this but 15Euros is expensive for one night given it demands no extra cleaning service.
