- It is a lovely hotel with lovely reception staff, nice bar and restaurant. Very good value and will definitely stay again on our way to Santander. It’s a 2 and half hour drive. Nice big room and comfortable bed.
- It was convenient to the motorway for our onward journey to Bilbao
- We stayed as part of a large group(30+) so good to be together in same accommodationOne chap behind bar pretty much ran the place, bar service , food orders etc ... on his own pretty much every shift but served us all with a smile while we battled with google translate!( No one spoke English!) He was a legend!Great value drinks , food not served till 8.30pm limited ,but ok - def not much for veggies ( omelet)Whilst rooms were basic ( ours very dark) and a little dated , the bed was comfortable :)10 min walk to a great restaurant and large supermarket
Cons -
- The water pressure in our room 107 was very poor.
- We weren't advised where the restaurant was or where breakfast would be served. The staff were miserable. My husband asked for a large beer in the bar and it was served in a wine glass. The restaurant didn't open for dinner until 8:30pm which was too late after our early start and early start the following morning. We noticed a snack menu in the bar so decided to order a hot snack instead only to be advised these also weren't available until 8:30pm .
- Well, a few things that could massively improve this place..Clearly used as a driving stopover and being dog friendly can see the appeal but it is in need of improving ..Breakfast was very basic. Whilst understand continental , was not the best Chocolate donuts , croissants, few slices bread, ham and processed cheeses. All just self service..Machine coffee, hot water provided if asked in a metal jugRestaurant/breakfast area was very dusty/dirty. Flies around all the time , food uncovered , tables not cleared away tablecloths grubby. Very dated and dreary space to start/ end the day and eat.A few mornings we needed to have an early start (7.30) and breakfast didn't start till 8am . I asked reception for a bottle of water but told "all closed".. Come on , if there's no water or tea/coffee making facilities in your room , you could easily offer guests a croissant and bottle of water / coffee to go? The onsite pool ( though don't think part of hotel) was a real bonus but run in the most bizarre & strictest way! Doesn't open until 12 noon and not a minute earlier .. need tickets from reception for access then buy ticket for sunbed in pool reception... Not allowed to move your own sunbed , lifeguard shouts at you to wait and brings them over ( locals first ) tells you there are no more but are more stacked about. Not allowed inflatable lilo in pool on one day but are on another. Not allowed to take photos unless behind the barrier. Not allowed to smoke on grass area by pool but can other side of fence ( that also grass!?)Shouted when we left for the day as one lolly stick left unnoticed on grass.... Needs to chill a bit and encourage the use of leisure time = fun time! When we say shouted , it was all in Spanish so not too sure what he was talking about most of time but guessed by pointing and google translate again :)

Great value for money, friendly staff, good quality food at incredible price. Menu del noche, bottle of wine, bottle of water for 2 people €32. Room comfortable, air conditioning worked well, decent size towels! Not the normal face flannel ones you normally find in hotels.Room quiet, bed huge.
Good location, friendly staff.
AC wasn't working in room.
Good location, outside of city. Too cold and wet for any of the hotels leisure facilities. Nice bar, great value restaurant with quality food. Staff were great.
Dinner not served until 8:30pm which is a little late for us. Same food choice over 2 days ( 3 options for starter and main) a little limited but good value and quality
Tha staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you really good for the dog the room was comfortable enough the shower in the bathroom was not great needs a new shower head desperately. the hotel is really nice but is a little tired in places overall could not fault it for a dog friendly hotel
Stayed here many times en route to and from The Algarve. Comfortable clean rooms in a quiet location near the motorway. Staff very friendly and helpful cafe bar and restaurant in site all good value
Friendly staff. Welcomed our 2 dogs. Decent restaurant and comfortable rooms. Reasonable rate and close to the autoroute.
Internet was weak. Lack of accessible plug sockets.
Good location off the motorway, easy to find. Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Generally the hotel is tired and needs refurbishment. Breakfast food was uncovered and insects were near the food.
Easy to park and locate on route to Portugal
Rooms are clean and well appointed but a little dated
Clean well appointed
Terrible directionsThe address was inaccurate and the GPS could not find it
The location, the staff. the huge bedroom. the spacious car park. the restaurant
No drinks making facility in the bedroom
A large room. The bed wasn’t bad.
The pool is not private to the hotel. It’s a crowded public pool. You get a ticket to the pool they don’t tell you that you need to supply your own towel and pay for chairs. We drove six hours on an extremely hot day thinking we’d have a lovely hotel pool waiting for us. Turned out to be a crowded public pool that we couldn’t use as we didn’t have pool towels with us, we walked next door without any money as the front desk person didn’t tell us we’d need to pay for chairs a and it was so crowded you wouldn’t want to swim anyway. The dinner at the restaurant was not good. The food was plain and barely edible. It’s a prefix menu with very little choice. The breakfast was awful. Flies all over the lukewarm meat and cheese. Nothing fresh. We had to pay for a breakfast we couldn’t consume. Overall really disappointing experience.
Good restaurant for a quick and delicious dinner. The staff couldn't be nicer and the breakfast was also tasty. The room was very comfortable and it was well equipped.
Perfect for our needs. We were travelling with 3 dogs and we were all welcomed. Big room, good walking for our dogs. Parking great.
No complaints
Breakfast was perfect. Room was very good.
Shower was poor.
Evening meal was exceptional value for money and really well cooked and tasty
bedrooms to warm with aircon not working and would have preferred a room with a window rather than just a skylight
Staff were excellent, room very comfortable and good size, excellent parking
The breakfast could be improved and food uncovered had lots of flies on them
Rooms comfortable and clean, ideal for people with dogs as there is grass where they can walk. Continental breakfast was good.
Food was not good in the restaurant, limited set menu, I know it was Sunday evening but the menu was awful, not as good as when we stayed on a Sundsy evening in April.
