- Let's start with what we liked:- The location is wonderful and the masseria is properly looked after, - Breakfast is amazing with many different choices and very good quality food- The staff is nice and they do whatever is in their power to make sure you are having all that you need. - This is also true at the beach clubs as well, in particular we enjoyed the service, the quiet and restaurant of the Coccaro beach club. - The pool is nice and quiet and very relaxing with a nice kids club, I think especially for families this is a convenient setup where you can really enjoy your time off. - Communication was smooth and never had any issue in signaling or requesting things. - I used SPA service for Manicure and it was great :) - Nice and selected clientele - Location is good to go visit the area around (we had a car but there's also a shuttle service available)
- The restaurant was good enough. The place is probably nicer in summer; we visited in winter.
- The staff,The rooms the nature the beautiful design the atmosphere of the incredible Italian country side. To top it all Puglia’s beautiful weather and food and hospitality. My home away from home. Will be back for sure
Cons -
- Disappointments:- We didn't like to discover that the area outside our room was not private to us as it seemed from the pictures but it was used also by another room to pass through. Having 2 small dogs we were hoping to leave them free to roam in an enclosed space, given the situation we couldn't do it. - The bed was uncomfortable and covered with a topper that constantly moved, I think it was possibly one of the worst bed I have slept in a high-end hotel.- When we booked we didn't see anywhere written that weddings would take place at the masseria during holiday season. This means certain areas can't be used during the wedding (generally going from 19 up to 00:30-01:00) and that noises like loud music and people chanting will be there from the early afternoon (sounding test) until very late. For the money paid, this should not happen and a fruit basket doesn't cut it especially when you're restricting areas for which guests have already paid to use and noises prevents sleeping/resting.- Coccaro Beach Club is a bit small and the sea is often not clear due to presence of kelps, Le Palme beach club was bigger (sea was rough due to strong winds) but it's open to external guests and it's way more noisy: at the restaurant we had to ask multiple times to lower the music because we couldn't listen to each other talk.- In the masseria, plenty of activities are organised, some for free others to be paid and they're expensive but I would say most of them are to ensure the international clientele gets a taste of the local culture so I am not sure how much the Italian clientele might appreciate some of them.- I guess due to the nature of the room (a sort of cellar) the bathroom walls had mold on it closer to the shower and the sink.
- We had problems with hot water (wrong fawcett labeling and long waits before hot water is available)Air conditioning (heating) is behind a wooden grid that prevents it from working properly. The battery of the room phone was completely discharged when we arrived.
- Nothing, everything was great. Roof, food, facilities, all was amazing and we are very grateful for our experience. We recommend to everybody to visit.

Amazing place, such a nice staff, so polite and comprehensive. Great facilities and wonderful restaurant. Breakfast is great too. Yard and all the hotel area are very well maintained.
Nothing, everything was great. Roof, food, facilities, all was amazing and we are very grateful for our experience. We recommend to everybody to visit.
Spacious , masseria type construction, inserted in nature
As individual traveller I would appreciate to see less obviously how important big events( casamientos) are for the hotel
Superb experience!!!! Extremely beautiful and lovely Southern Italian vibes. Room is comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is delicious and with many options. Staff are very kind and helpful. We definitely enjoyed our stay here.
The design, the food, the staff. Speechless!
Everything was perfect! Maybe the parties, that the music was too loud.
The property is exceptionally and tastefully decorated. It offers the perfect ambiance for total relaxation and authenticity.. being so one with nature Restaurant is so elegant, service impeccable, food exquisite. Staff very attentive and professional
All was perfect
This is a beautiful luxury resort, with prices to match.
People used to Australian beaches will also be used to the disappointment of the European beaches. If you're desperate for a swim, the hotel pool is better than the rows of sun beds and pretty average sand and water, without the need for a shuttle to get there.
Where do I even begin? From the moment we stepped onto the property, we felt so welcomed and treated with the utmost care and kindness. The masseria’s attention to detail is superb. Our stay exceeded our expectations 100000x over. We enjoyed the abundant free breakfast, the relaxing pool and cabana bar, and the on-site spa. The shuttle service that took us to and from the beach club was a huge plus, as well. We enjoyed meeting every staff member that helped us during our stay, and we would definitely come back!
Truly nothing! I tried really hard to think of something but we enjoyed every aspect of our stay here and we wish we stayed longer, honestly!
Pretty masseria, with large grounds and a very nice pool area. Breakfast was very good. Majority of the staff was very competent and friendly. Our room had its own pool which was a nice touch although we ended up not using it much.
I found that overall the place did not quite match the type of service you expect from a 5 star hotel and price tag. Some of the younger staff seemed uninterested in the guests. Our room was at the edge of the property which meant either a trek through roughly gravel path or waiting for a ride on the property golf carts. Not sure why the grounds were not more adequately paved? The kids club, while in a nice location, was not really fit for purpose as the two child minders did not seem interested or able to speak English and so could not really engage with the non Italian children around. Finally, some of the recommendations from the staff (restaurants, beaches) were really not suitable for the quality expected of a 5 star hotel.
The team were so lovely and amazing with the kids! Size of the hotel area was perfect for our kids as they could explore without us and couldn’t get lost.
More salad and veg at the dinners, but the food is amazing!
The staff were amazing, simply could not do enough for you. The hotel has beautiful rustic charm, with luxury touches.
It’s very expensive, for the standard of room. Also the kids play area is great but would be good to have more shade - all the climbing areas and slides are plastic which means they are unusable in the heat of the sun!
Great place to feel the atmosphere of Puligia. Although it was offseason we had a wonderful time at the masseria. Very cosy, warm and clean, the hospitaliy was friendly and the breakfast is very satisfactory.
We can't think on something we didn't like
-professional staff-amazing gardens and territory-we had a great St. Valentines dinner with live music
-the door to the bathroom was not possible to close-construction workers in the neighbor room started to work at 08:00-bad sound isolation with the neighboring rooms
if you go with your girlfriend at Masseria Torre Coccaro you have to be ready to end up engaged. it’s just too beautiful and romantic to pass. seriously beautiful property with every detail taken seriously. great spa, great dinner and the most amazing atmosphere.
say hello to being single
Absolutely gorgeous property with great decor . The restaurants are amazing with great chef and staff . This place is like a fairy tale .
Chases at the beach and prices for cabanas . Should bd free .
Everything was superb except the SPA service
SPA is small and does not provide enough services for the hotel category
The breakfast included at the masseria had an excellent quality of fresh and natural options and such an amazing variety, one of the best hotel breakfasts i have ever experienced anywhere.
Nothing!!
wide choice very good
the music was too loud at the wedding
