Hotel Cordón

Great place for a stop on the Camino. Great staff, great food. Nice rooms. Quiet place.

I prepaid Booking.com and the hotel cordon insisted they are to be paid too. So hopefully, I did not pay twice. Today’s hotel did not charge me.

Location and breakfast were very good. Room and bed were a bit small. Staff was very good and helpful.

The bed was too small for one six-foot tall American. It would have been more convenient if the breakfast area offered something later in the day -- at lunch or, even better, drinks and tapas in the evening.

Decent buffet. Good bread, coffee., good variety of cheeses and smoked meats. Very limited cooked options.

Overdone. Poked eggs, omelette would have been. Nice

Friendly staff. We arrived early and although we couldn’t check in, they stored our bags so we could explore the city. The room was very clean and the breakfast was great.

The hotel was looking a little ‘tired’ and the hallways needed a refresh.

Location and staff were excellent. The buffet breakfast was a big plus and so was the large bathtub.

Nice location near the Camino de Santiago, in the historic area of the city with lots of restaurants, bars, and historic sites in close walking distance. Especially, we enjoyed an air conditioned room (not typical in Spain along the Camino) and it was very quiet, allowing for a restful night’s sleep in spite of festivals going on this week.

Hotel was clean and quiet, staff very friendly and helpful. It is close to all the attractions in town. Shops and restaurants are also close by and full of options.

This is a very well situated hotel in the middle of the city, with lots of cafes and restaurants within a stone's throw from the hotel. As we were only passing through we didn't get time to explore but we will come back. The hotel is comfortable but a little tired in places. The staff were very welcoming at reception.

Parking is a short distance away and the hotel website states that there is a special price of 14Euros as there is no hotel parking. We were charged 19Euros at the machine and there seemed no way of changing that. I recommend confirming that with reception before leaving.

Centrally located near downtown square. Very good breakfast. Room was spacious and comfortable. Many great restaurants, wine bars, and attractions in walking distance. Parking garage close by. Surprised to find so much English spoken. Biggest cathedral we have ever seen in Europe and we have seen many!

A bit hard to find in that streets have limited access. Once we figured that out, all was good.

This is an excellent hotel for a short stay in Burgos - the staff were very friendly, the hotel offers discounted underground parking close nearby and the rooms were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was fine, with excellent water pressure in our shower. The location is brilliant - extremely close to some lovely history, shops and bars/ restaurants in a bustling area, even on a very cold November night. It was also quite easy to find off the motorway, with easy access again for our onward journey the following day. Overall, excellent value for money in a city that we will definitely go back to for a longer visit. (We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the breakfast)

It was not possible to turn off the heating even though it was too hot in the room.

Very convenient location and exceptional staff. I requested an early checkin, which was allowed!

The facility was old and in disrepair. I was stuck in the elevator and used the stairs for the remainder of my trip.

Spacious, comfortable room. (Private room.) Spacious bathroom. Bar on premises. Front desk staff spoke English.

Thin walls. Other than that, a good stay overall.
