    • Great location. Easy to walk to everything including a Dia Store for some things.

    Cons -

    • No coffee in the room
    • I wished the bed would be more comfortable.
    • I different check in attitude, but my feelings weren’t hurt. Street noise wasn’t great at 3 am, but it’s not a hotel problem. Nobody told me about breakfast!

I can not praise this hotel enough. Arrived expecting to stay for 2 nights and ended up with a 16 night stay because my travel companion was hospitalized. The staff was so helpful and caring, never too busy to stop and ask how things were going. I lost track of how many nights I had reserved and they said to not worry about it, to stay as long as I needed. The room and bathroom were both spacious and cleaned spotlessly daily. The room had plenty of space to move around, good lighting, comfortable beds and a good size closet to hang clothes and floor to ceiling shelves. The window opened to a busy Burgos Street and when closed blocked out all of the noise. Bathroom was also large with all the amenities including a bidet. Very nice comedor with a la carte traditional Spanish breakfast including bottomless coffee (take your pick of cafe con leche, espresso, etc) breads and croissants, tortilla, meats, cheese, tomato, olive oil, boiled eggs, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and more! A lovely lobby with reminders of the hotel's more than 100 year history. The location was perfect, in the old city with it's winding stone streets with cafes and shops and historical buildings, and just moments from the cathedral. And to top it all off, the hotel is an exceptionally good value.

Location and Location, character, roomy, near everything.

    The location is great

the room was slanted! And so were the beds. The bathroom door did not latch shut, the shower water changed temperature mid shower and there was black mold along the caulk of the tub!

Would not recommend for the price!

Terrible room for the price. Extremely disappointed in the beds, the bedding, the heat, the floors and the overall comfort factor for the price!!!!

Is in a very good place, easy to walk everywhere. Parking on the street close by is easy, like 5 min walk from the hotel.

Nice location on the Camino and central to so much in Burgos.

The gentleman who checked us in was most unfriendly, left us standing at the counter for a while after we greeted him and said checking in. When we asked about hotel meals his answer was “No”. However we found out the hotel serves a lovely breakfast. Not the warm greetings we received every other day of our first 2 weeks.

Location was great and the breakfast was okay.

The room was so hot. There was a fan but it just blew the hot air around. Couldn’t open the windows because of the noise below. The beds were terribly uncomfortable and the pillows were shameful. Not good value for the steep price!

Beautiful old building fabulous bathtub to soak in after a long day on the Camino.A two minute walk to the Cathedral and lots of bars, bakeries and sites right near the hotel.Enhanced continental breakfast.I read some reviews that the floors squeaked.. it's an old building! I found it charming! They obviously spent money on the fresh bathrooms and the windows were tight and soundproof.. Spaniards don't start their evening til 9 and go into the late hours.Early Camino wake up times and my room was silent.

I have no complaints.i really enjoyed my visit

A little noisy from street but that is to be expected with the location
