Hostal Campus

Very clean, comfortable room and kind, helpful staff. Perfect location for visiting the education faculty of the university on foot. Easy parking right outside the hotel. Good bars/cafes nearby for breakfast, lunch and supper, also offering takeaway service with hot food being allowed in the rooms.

It would have been great to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room and a long mirror could be useful for some but there was nothing not to like!

Location very good. Easy walking distance to the city centre. Comfortable beds. Good shower. Extras provided - shampoo and drinks - were very welcome. Very helpful host with instructions for the room and finding our way around the city.

Strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room on arrival. The information states 'No Smoking' in any rooms. The smoking needs to be monitored. Maybe the cleaners have been smoking? I have a strong aversion to cigarette smoke smell and this spoilt my experience of the stay.

Very convenient, inexpensive hostal on the edge of town near to the university. Plenty of free parking nearby. The cathedral and historic centre is a 25 minute walk away. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Our room was hotel quality even though we had booked a hostel room. The room was beautiful with fluffy towels and toiletry samples. Bed very comfortable. Wifi very strong. The property is close to the Camino route. Washing machine and dryer available next to a vending machine, which was great.

The shower head was a little faulty for such a lovely venue. But otherwise not much not to like.

No kitchen, not hot water kettle.

FANTASTIC beds, very nice and helpfull personnel, when we asked for a watercooker it was brought immediately. Bus to the city at 110 m.

The price

I stayed on a weekend and the restaurants and grocery stores were closed or very limited. I had just walked the Camino and did not want to go back into Burgos.

Comfortable, clean room. Quiet.

It was difficult to find reception ( round the corner, under a different name).It would be good if breakfast was available nearby but I had to go into the centre to find some.

Nice little hostel. Shame underground parking was already full. Otherwise all good. Friendly host. Close enough to the town - 15 min walk

The room got very hot in the afternoon and evening - fan or air conditioning would transform the room

Plenty of parking available. Good location, 25 minutes walk from the old center of Burgos.

No airconditioning and the room has very small windows. it was hot in the room. For the price paid, and moreover the absence of breakfast, airconditioning should be available.

Very friendly welcome, comfortable room, in the University area...away from the centre ..quiet and near the camino

It was close to the camino de santiago. Supermarket, cafes, pharmacy, within a 10min walk. Manager was very helpful.

Very obliging host, convenient for buses into town, great local bars and food.

No kettle in room

Good value, staff, free parking available.

Room 5: Bathroom heater was almost touching the toilet.

the person at reception was very nice, it was included gel, shampoo, towels, comb, toothbrush and also a little bottle of water and a juice. very good service

The owner is friendly

I emailed them about my arrival at 3:00 am but they never replied nor arranged the key for me. I actually spent only 4 nights at the reserved room. Their ‘24/7’ did not answer my calls.
