Pros +
- An excellent hotel if you're travelling with pets and it worked exceedingly well for us as an overnight stay enroute to France . The dogs are allowed in the bar so we didn't have to stay in our room and there's a good park at the back to walk the dogs. Staff are very friendly
- Pleasent recepcionist.
- Courteous receptionist.
Cons -
- Noizy.Smoke smell.Slight but umpleasent mildew smell.Too far from the center.
- Too far from the center.Outdated.Not very clean.Noisy.People smoking right under room's windows
- The hotel is run down, no access to stop and check in - there is no parking, no entry - it is literally inaccessible from the street due to no parking. The woman at the check in desk was rude. My Booking dot com reservation made her unhappy,. She charged me 12 euros to park, and another 15 euros for my dog. The parking? A nightmare. She has to walk ahead of you to guide you down to an unbelievably difficult garage. She waved me into a space that my car would not fit in - and when I asked if I could park in the next space, she said "no hotel space". The elevator must be summoned by the person on the front desk. Seriously,. You cannot go to the garage unless the front desk person issues you a key and then you have to bring it back - yet no place to stop in front of the hotel. The room? Oh. My. God. The air conditioning was turned off. There are no bug screens on the windows. The sheets are disgusting. There was a big rainhead shower head over a big bathtub with no curtain. No way to shower. No amenities - just a pump soap by the sink and a pump gel in the bathtub. That is disgusting. I don't want to hit a pump that has not been sanitized. The entire place smelled like stale cooknig oil - the restaurant is below the rooms. It was disgustingly dirty everywhere. A three star? No way.

Disgusting. It is a very dirty, unfriendly place. Never stay there.

Poor cleaning, poor breakfast
The breakfast area wasn't clean, the microwave was filthy. Breakfast was extremely basic.
The room was spacious
Our experience at this hotel was disappointing. Upon arrival, the receptionist charged us more than the price on our Booking reservation (€108 instead of €103.5). She also insisted that breakfast was not included, even though it clearly was in our reservation. Only after speaking with another staff member was this corrected and the breakfast confirmed as included.Room's furniture was old and poorly maintained. Regarding cleanliness, we found fingerprints on the windows and papers left behind by the previous guest, which was unacceptable. The bed was uncomfortable, and we didn’t sleep well.Breakfast was by far the worst part of the stay: very limited selection, poor quality products, and an evident lack of cleanliness in the dining area. Overall, a disappointing experience, especially considering the price.
Can’t recommend this place at all
Room wasn’t clean when i arrived. And when i let the front desk know they didn’t believe me.And then i got to listen as the housekeeper was dressed down by the front desk agent.
Cold bacon and eggs stuck to dish told to heat up in microwave bread hard no hot water for tea very little staff extra to park car extra for dog
Fab bar dog friendly location was OK Will definitely return
It has good food, nice wine very friendly staff
It was very warm
Room was good and bathroom excellent. Cafe was excellent for dinner and breakfast. The dog was welcomed.
Local street parking was difficult.
Very accommodating staff, helpful, very clean and comfortable
The only good thing were the cleaning staff who were very friendly and kind.
The rude and brusque receptionist. The rooms and corridors smelled of fried food. During the early hours of the morning the smell of this inside the room was quite choking. The bed linen smelled dirty and the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned. When I informed the rude receptionist she started raising her voice, like it was my fault. The room was freezing in the evening and I had to call reception and the rude lady said she’d turn on the air conditioning. Not sure why it wasn’t already on and why they had to wait for guests to complain before turning it on…Overpriced stay and then they expect you to pay for breakfast on top…. The area around the hotel is dead, there are no shops and just one cafe nearby which was actually very good and where I went for breakfast instead of the overpriced, grimy hotel. Whoever gave this place good reviews must have stayed at one of the other Braseris hotels, as there are 3 in Burgos. Also, don’t be fooled by the photos, they look like the whole block is a hotel, when in fact it’s a residential apartment block with a bar and restaurant on the ground floor and hotel rooms on the first floor only. Any noise you can hear from upstairs (someone’s flat) you just have to put up with. I’m not sure why Booking.com allows this kind of place to be advertised on their site, it’s awful and so overpriced. Oh, and they kindly left a nicely decorated, nearly finished toilet roll in the bathroom for me, all for €50 per night.
Easy to park, big rooms
Restaurant isn’t the best
Clean and comfortable rooms
Wifi was down No heat in room were given a portable unitReception staff ignored us for 10 min before assisting
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was great, as was the breakfast.
Nothing to dislike.
Clean
Beds too narrow, pillows way too hard, small room, aircon not working, very noisy
A large mdern bedroom & excellent bathroom as well, First class food for evening meal did not take breakfast
Nothing second visit to this hotel travelling north to port
The staff were very good
The location was poor. The pillows were extremely hard. No food available until 20.30, not good when you have been travelling for several hours. No hot food at breakfast. Breakfast area very cold room temperature. Parking was hit and miss, luckily we found a space nearby. Wifi was non-existent all over the hotel. Why are there two hotels with the same name? One in the centre and one in the back of beyond. We went to the wrong one and had to find our way to the other one. Absolute shambles.
Clean, quiet and comfortable, with friendly staff. What we needed as a base for exploring the area, and good value.
