Magnificent location, friendly and very efficient staff, mesmerizing swimming pools and fantastic value for the dinner. The Ham was the best we have ever had and the lamb was delicious. The breakfast was nicely and quickly served in a very friendly atmosphere.
It was clean, eclectic, staff were accommodating. Dinner was delicious.

Historic hotel, friendly staff
No AC in bedroom is inadmisible for 300 euros per night
The restaurant is top quality; amazing staff. The rooms are beautiful. It makes you feel like you live in a castle.
You need to pay a lot for a crib.
It is an unique place - organized around the medieval style including the pool which is difficult to depict in photos. It is a marvel and tables along with live fire in the pool is something exceptional. Reasonable food at place and unexpectedly charnimg atmosphere in place surrounded by crossroads
Room was fantastic did not stay for breakfast
Bar service was very poor evening meal in restaurant was poor
Lovely decor. Best swimming pool ever. Even bought the scent they sell.
Pet cost a bit steep.
Facilities are amazing: the room is spacious, the restaurant is great & food too! Staff is very welcoming, polite & helpful!
Breakfast was very average
The hotel is beautiful and the staff charming
The bar staff are the only people who let the hotel down. The service is very slow and the waiters ( not the girls) are abrupt with few if any smiles. The restaurant was a disappointment
Amazing building, lovely indoor pool.
Staff do not appear to be trained adequately for the price-point of this hotel.:1. The bar staff were dismissive when my wife asked for a cocktail menu, and told her that she would be able to get a drink once seated for dinner. When I approached the same member of staff and said we wanted drinks before we went into dinner his attitude changed markedly. It appeared to me that this was a gender-based response.2. We advised in reception when booking, and again at the table, that we were vegetarian. We ordered an apparently vegetarian starter, but half-way through found lumps of pork fat in the dish. We stopped eating. The waitress’s response was not to apologise, or confirm she would remove the dish from the bill, but to laugh and say “oh yes, you’re vegetarian aren’t you?”.3. When I brought this to the attention of the reception staff on check-out their reaction was to giggle. We were billed for the inedible food.I would advise vegetarians and vegans, or anyone with special dietary needs to avoid this hotel at all costs.
Very traditional interior, nice and calm atmosphere, friendly team - especially porter very friendly and helping. Room ok - although airco was not working - turned off after summer. Staff very friendly and helping.
Location next to highway- so very noisy with open window. A/C turned off after summer so had to open windows so pretty noisy….. lucky am a good sleeper. Breakfast only served as of 8am- pretty late when having busy schedule. Breakfast served individually- so no buffet- time consuming with busy schedule.
the hotel decor and furnishings are very nice. the underground car park for my motorcycle was a bonus. The swimming pool was not crowded although a little cool at first. the hotel has the look of being very classy. there is plenty of space for parking the car.
the staff can be very busy serving outsiders for lunch. I couldn't get a table and struggled to find out how to order a beer because the servers were too busy. maybe if I could speak Spanish I could have had an easier time.
The hotel is exceptional, offering a castle-like experience. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the pool is fantastic. The reception service was excellent!
We requested an early breakfast as we were leaving at dawn, and it was confirmed the evening before. However, in the morning, the service was delayed by 15 minutes, and the staff member informed us that breakfast wasn't typically available at that hour. This caused unnecessary stress, and the internal policies of the hotel were of no help in the situation.
The food was good and the service excellent
We booked a room on the ground floor but we were allocated a room at the top of the building three flights up. The room number 304 was on two levels and my wife getting up in the night slipped on the step between them and injured herself. She is still in pain.
Swimming pool, location, food good but expensive
Room dull and only one window air conditioning didn’t work and fan was so noisy kept us awake
The building is a unique blend of truly historic architecture with more recent mid 20th century building I found it fascinating. The Staff were excellent.
The bar menu could do with adding more international choices.
Great location, superb building, good facilities/ parking
