- We only stayed for one night and everything was exactly what we needed. We arrived a bit late and after a long day of travel, and the woman who helped us was very welcoming and even helped me get my suitcase up the stairs as I was with my child. For the price, the room is quite nice, the building is older but everything works well, and best of all, it's easy walking distance to the train station. No complaints, we'd stay here again. Thanks so much!
- Location was great, whole city center within walking distance.
- Location - by the river and old town - and - Just close to lar Jatetxea - which is a great restaurant
Cons -
- The stay was already very pricey for a place that was not very clean and had a bit of mold. However, I was charged twice for the same night, doubling the price! Mistakes can happen, so I contacted the hotel through a message on this platform, which has now been ignored for a month.
- Parking was provided, which was great, but underground garage was very tight!
- It was all good

Great central location, close to the old town, lovely lady who works hard running her hotel, tea and coffee ‘station’ situated outside our room, near the reception, basic but comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the river/ old town
Parking was provided, which was great, but underground garage was very tight!
Very friendly lady checked us in and gave us ideas of where to go on a map
It was all good
Location is really good with close access to buses, metro and the tram. The lady in charge always has a friendly "Hola", and is helpful.Overlooking the river should be good, but ....
It is overpriced for what you get. It's nice to overlook the river but it's not helpful when the window louvers are rusted shut. Noisy location with garbage bins emptied each morning outside. The place is cluttered with "stuff". It needs a good refurbishment.
The hotel is ideally situated for the Old Town and the Guggenheim museum and the staff helped as much as they could with limited english and our limited spanish. Parking available on-site, at a cost of €15 per night, but very tight and an absolute nightmare to actually get the car in and out.
Very claustrophobic room with no air con and if you opened the window into a smelly and noisy alleyway, it was hard to sleep or even be in the room at times. Cushions had stains on them and pillows were the thickness of a folded towel., although rest of the room was well cleaned. The shower was broken and didn't fit in the holder properly. The whole hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment and so to be charged best part of 300 euros for 2 nights (inc. parking) was well over the top.
Good location, close to old city, metro station, Gugenheim museum( 15 min walking tour)
Lack of fresh air in the room due to the fact that the window is in an interior courtyard , bad noise isolation. The bath towel had red stains on it. Also Google maps shows another position of the hotel then the real one. The hotel it's on a street next to the one showed by Google map.
Good central location on the right side of town. Great host.
It’s basic but has everything you need.
Great location lovely host
Quite noisy
Great locating near to the main square
The room was to small had 2 small single beds which where uncomfortable and pillows to hard had 2 not very good nights sleep and the toilet was very snug between a pillar and radiator
As I was alone and I'm female, it was very nice my host was a very friendly, helpful woman. One evening I got fever and I could make hot tea, and stay in my room who was very cosy. Also nice the rooms are on the same level of the reception. U don't have to do lot of stairs. U can also sit in the livingroom. The location is PERFECT: u just walk to Guggenheim or to Casco Viejo. But overal I felt at ease and I'm very grateful to the woman who runs the hotel. I surely would go back there, and recommend it to others.
Staff is super helpful and kind. The room is exactly what you expect for one night in the old town. Clean, comfortable beds. There is free coffee and tea all time. 0-24 reception service.
Location
Poor size and decor. No a/c. Poor value.
Location. Helpfully staff
Noise and light from the street in room 4. Some mould in shower
On check out the owner reimbursed us as we had paid for parking that we didn’t end up using. We hadn’t realised we’d initially paid for this, very honest owner-thank you
Slightly dated but didn’t bother us
The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and the position was good for us as we were travelling by train
No air conditioning, so very hot, bathroom quite scruffy though clean. Very noisy, rooms not at all soundproofed
Very nice position, extremely central, rooms are very very very clean and the personnell is nice and helpful
Just a suggestion: if the receptionist is alone and of course needs to leave the reception/hotel to assist guests, it would be helpful to provide them with a cell phone, since if a guest arrives and finds the hotel closed and no one replies to the doorbell, this is a problem. The next morning, if the guest needs to check out and the reception will be closed, the internal phone number is called as instruction at the reception desk, and there is no answer, this is a problem...on Booking page it is said that checkout is possible 0.00-12.00; thankfully, I had the idea to phone to the hotel so the sound of the telephone made the receptionis arrive....if the parking is small and not suitable to host all the guests, and it is need to be booked in advance, please send a message to the guests or write it on the Booking page!
Friendly helpful staff, clean comfortable room and bathroom. Great location near railway station with access to local eateries. Easy walk to Guggenheim. Very close to tram and buses.
Location
It stank of dampness, the room was full of dust, no pillows, only small pillows. Old, unrenovated, and the price is high. The reception is located on the first floor without an elevator, we had to drag our suitcases up the stairs ourselves
