the ny receptionist was cool

there’s so much here to unpack. we only ended up staying two nights, we moved to another place instead. on the first night I was bitten by a bug/spider. The beds were uncomfortable and everything smelled very badly. I had to make my own bed - which is not what I want when I pay for a service. I couldn’t get myself in the shower. Dodgy

The bed was comfortable. The common area was also good.

The location was not ideal. I had been in better hostels for similar price.

The view was nice, and stuff was care about customers.

Kitchen is closed around 10pm until 8am, it’s not convenient.

Disappointing

I was disappointed with my stay. I couldn’t sleep properly because of noise in the middle of the night. Some guests were drunk, others turned on the lights and talked on the phone, which made the environment uncomfortable. There seemed to be a lack of control over noise and rules.

The price was good and the staff were nice. The bed was surprisingly comfortable.

The rooms didn’t have any locks. So anyone could walk in. There’s only two bathrooms, one per women and one for men, and you have to walk pretty far from the women only room to the women’s bathroom.

an unpleasant stay

I stayed here for 3 nights and had a very unpleasant experience. The hostel changed my room for the last night without informing me in advance, I only found out on the same day. Because of this sudden change, I told the staff that I had personal items on my bed (my eye mask, earplugs, and pajamas) that needed to be moved to the new room. When I returned later, I discovered that my eye mask had been lost. It must have been mixed with the bed sheets while the staff handled the move. This was completely outside my control, as I was in another city during the day.Later that night, my bus was delayed and I arrived around 23:20. Reception was already closed, and although they said someone would be waiting to help me access the hostel and retrieve the rest of my belongings, the experience was awful. The door code didn’t work even though I entered it correctly, and instead of helping, the staff member mocked me and said the problem was “me.” Very disrespectful.When I told him about my missing item, he again dismissed me, said it wasn’t his problem, and refused to help in any way. I had to wait for him multiple times because he wasn’t even at his post.Because of their lack of communication, careless handling of my belongings, and extremely rude staff behavior, I lost my eye mask, something essential for my sleep. This caused unnecessary stress and frustration, and I felt completely disrespected.I do not recommend this place. Horrible staff attitude and zero responsibility for their mistakes.

It’s clean , comfortable and the views are amazing .

No charging points near the bed . The water for the showers was not hot but just lukewarm.

The common areas and the breakfast space were great! We also liked how much bathroom space there was.

The location was not ideal as it was a long walk from the center, but the view from our room made up for this!

Relaxation area

Noisy beds, inconsiderate guests, too busy and impersonal

Staff was very friendly, they allow me to store my luggage after checking out in order to enjoy my last day in Bilbao without worries.

It was clean and the employees were helpful. Location was close to everything except the central bus station.

The walk to the autobus station was the worst part but totally doable

Opportunity to meet interesting people,nice common area, good communication with staff.

Well, I guess the place is good for Camino hikers who are tired and like to meet people and are not bother by snoring roommates but for me it was a night without sleep with 3 people heavy snoring next to me. It was my mistake to stay in such crowded hostel. In addition kitchen is closed in the night and showers don't have really hot water.

Good and quiet common area. Breakfast is included that is good value.

Not quite close to metro that take a bus is better.

16 Euro for a 4 bed book room with breakfast was good value for money. The breakfast was pretty decent with a selection of cereals, with different milk options, toast and fruit juice.

My room was very hot ,with no ventilation.

Nice stay for the price , also breakfast included which is good and the staff was nice. The location isnt bad neither

I had to do my own bed and put the bedsheets because they didnt do it which was hard to do so because i arrived at night and everyone was sleeping already so i had to sleep on an undone bed until morning.Also first thing i saw was a small cockroach on the wall of the room

The hostel is located close to the lovely Begoña church, and there's a supermarket and a bus stop nearby.The staff is friendly and helpful.The locker is big enough to fit my big backpack.The hostel is cleaned daily and is generally very clean,There is a big common space where I can work on my computer with good Wifi.The kitchen is well equipped.The included breakfast is good and includes some non dairy options like oat milk (no soy though).The room has big windows with a great view of the church, the mountains and the sunset.

There's no electric outlet or lamp near the bed. There is an outlet inside each locker, but it's not very useful because I need the phone near me most of the time.
