Overrated 4 star hotel with 3 star service

No room cleaning and limited breakfast.. Hotel should inform the customers ahead of time if the staff is on strike!

Comfortable hotel, good location, helpful friendly staff.

Well located

I was not informed that hotel staff was on strike until I arrived for my stay. Initially they were going to turn me away, but they’d mistakenly not cancelled my reservation in advance and they gave me a room but with no cleaning service. Also due the strike there was loud music and singing starting at 8am daily, not good for rest.

If you want a centrally located modern hotel with friendly staff and a huge breakfast selection, then this place is a good choice. A special thanks to Caro, a hard-working, lovely member of the waitstaff, and Oscar, who greeted us upon our arrival with his expertise on local beers. They were both always smiling and eager to please. We will definitely recommend this oasis of a hotel.

Breakfast room can be noisy because of the ceiling. Cafe not up to par with the Quality Hotel.

Location, cleanliness, good service

The place was clean and comfortable to stay. The bar staff was very pleasant and easy to talk to. A good place to stay. No real complaints. I was expecting a more modern setup based on the pics online and the front desk staff could be more welcoming as people are in and out of the building.

The AC was not working at all. The WiFi was repeatedly disconnecting. The parking lot is near inaccessible and hard to exit. No kettle in the room. The bathtub is an open shower that gets the floor wet.

The hotel location is convenient- it took us 15-20 minutes to walk to major tourist attractions.

Wi-Fi is spotty and practically doesn’t work. The staff rebooted their modem and it didn’t help. At some point we just bought SIM cards. The hotel has an underground parking, but most of parking spots are narrow and obstructed. To avoid frustrations don’t count on the parking, unless you are super capable driver.

The breakfasts were great- lots of good options and I liked that there were healthy choices. The location was in easy walking distance (10-20 minutes) to the Guggenheim, Old city and various plazas. Very nice room, comfortable beds, very quiet.

Everything was perfect. Room was clean, supplies changed everyday, nice staff and perfect location!

Our room (316) was poor quality. The mattress sagged and squeaked. Minimal flor space for luggage. The bottom of the bathroom door was badly damaged ? from a flood.

Friendly service. Nice coffee and pinxos at the bar. Location near city center, restaurants and shops. Metro nearby.

The airco too noisy.

Enjoyed our stay at the Silken. We would return.

Just thought it needed a little touch up. Rooms good. Staff very helpful.

The location was fine, a short walk to everything!The hotel was a bit tired and some aspects of the room could be improved.

No pool or outdoor space to hangout!

Very spacious room, huge bathroom, excellent cleaning procedures and amazing location.

The Internet reception in our room was sketchy at best, we had to use our own data in many occasions.

The location was quite good, we used taxis when the distances were too far to walk. It was 96 degrees the day we were there, so that impacted our decisions and probably our assessment of the location. The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed it both days. We also used and liked the fitness room. The elevators were fast & reliable. The check-in staff were friendly and efficient with good information. We checked in and out quickly & with ease.

The sangria drinks at the bar. They really did not taste like a good sangria - especially since we were in Spain.

Air conditioning was poor and extra area in our suite was poorly lit and should have had a sofa instead of 2 small chairs.

The room was nice and comfortable. Bed were comfy and the showers were hot with great water pressure. The best thing was the breakfat! So many options and such a nice variety! Great location, easy walking distance to things

Perfect location! Very central to everything. The room was very clean and even had a mini bar. Would definitely stay here again.
