The location is perfect, walking distance to every attractions. The staff is great, polite and very helpful. The breakfast is exceptional, almost as in a fine dining restaurant, delicious. Special thx to the chef and the ladies serving breakfast The design of the hotel and the rooms is suave. Easy checkin checkout. The amenities, pillows, sheets, towels are of quality. The hygiene and cleanliness is at top. They should rename the hotel as Basqualiy

The room needs to have more place for clothes such as additional drawers

This is a simply GREAT little boutique hotel in the fast developing old city center of Bilbao. Beautifully renovated rooms in a classic building right on the classic old town streets of the city. You can walk to the Guggenheim along the river, less than a half hour. A limitless number of restaurants, bars and plazas are all within minutes. The hotel itself is very exclusive, with few rooms, a small very nice staff. Somehow, even the breakfast is first rate. Perfect choice for our first visit to this underrated destination in northern Spain.

Location was perfect, staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious, room exceeded expectations. It was so good we stayed an extra 2 nights. We will be back.

Quality boutique hotel in a great location in the Old Town. Stylish rooms and a classy bathroom. Tasty breakfast and friendly.

Single room was small but okay for a short stay. Reception/breakfast room was a little hot and stuffy for me.

Very nice little hotel in the heart of casco viejo.The service was amazing, the breakfast unmissable. The team young and willing to help in any possible way. A special thanks to Gaiska, that welcomed us and made us feel like home.

Very nice and comfortable small hotel in great location to discover the old town, right by the main market. The bed was huge, the room overall nicely done and 100% spotless. They offered a wide selection of cold and hot dishes for breakfast both as a buffet and a la carte.

Parking is tricky.

Excellent location and my top level room had a fabulous balcony. That was great for calls.

The rooms are relatively small - perfect for one person. It's a boutique hotel and quite pricey.

Nothing, it wad great

The shower was phenomenal.. The bed comfortable. The daily complimentary water was very welcoming as we're the free toiletries. Everything in the room worked. The breakfast was fresh and filling. The staff very welcoming and alert. New cutlery would be provided without asking. The breakfast extremely good value? I loved the decor of the breakfast area, being surrounded by shelves upon shelves of antique books. Another plus was that the rooms are totally soundproof. One did not hear anyone or their comings and goings.All in all a very pleasant stay.

I cannot think of anything that I didn't like but can recommend a bit more light and signage at the exterior entrance to the hotel. I wasn't exactly sure at first where I had to enter.
